He's gone. I can't believe he's gone again. All alone in the Other Side with nothing. I don't know if he's here, right now. That's what hurts me the most.

A small smile came to my face when I heard Elena scream. Not from anyone trying to kill her, but from Damon scaring her.

"Well, this is as far as I go," Damon said as they came up to me.

Elena gave me a pained look before pulling me into a hug. "I heard about Leonard. Are you ok?"

"Am I ok with my best friend being alone on the Other Side? No," I responded. "I wish...I wish he was with us, you know?"

She nodded. "Trust me, I do. We've lost so many people because of Klaus."

And I know she's mostly talking about Stefan. "How is he?"

"He's drained."

I nodded. At least he isn't following us. Making us miserable and babysitting me makes me want to slap him. Elena and Ric went inside the cave, seeing how the ancient Lockwoods were anti-vampires. They raised their flashlights and I could see the confusion on Elena's face.

"What is all this?" She asked.

"Well, as far as I can tell, it's a story," Ric said. "In simple archaeological terms, it's a really, really old story." Ric flashed his light against one of the walls. "That right there is a moon cycle. A man. A wolf."

"A werewolf."

"Yeah. It's the Lockwood diaries, Pictionary style," Damon commented.

"I don't understand. I thought the Lockwoods came here with the original Founders in the 1860s."

I leaned against the wall, hating that I can't go in. "Maybe they came with the Vikings," I suggested. "Since apparently Rebekah likes to show off her history."

"She does more than show off," Damon mumbled, making me hit his arm.

"Show her the rest, Ric. Please. Before I snap Damon's neck."

"Be my guest," he said. Damon gave him a what the fuck look. Ric pointed the flashlight towards the other corner of the wall. "Names, and they're not native. They're written in runic, a viking script."

"Vikings?" Elena asked in shock. See, I was right.

"This name here, when translated, it reads...Niklaus."

"Klaus."

"And Elijah...And Rebekah."

Elena's mouth flew open as she walked closer to the wall. "These are the names of the Original family?"

"Carved into a cave that's - that's been here since way before the founding of Mystic Falls or even the entire New World, for that matter."

"Ok, this has gotta be one of Klaus' fakes."

"That's what I said," Damon said.

I rolled my eyes. "And I said, Damon get your ass out of your head. If this was here before the Founding families, how would Klaus be able to do this?"

"Not only that -" Ric flashed the light towards the furthest corner of the room "- the last name up here made us think otherwise."

"What's the name?" Elena asked.

"Mikael."

"Mikael." Ric nodded. "Mikael, as in the vampire hunter who knows how to kill Klaus?"

"Yep," Damon said. "And Bels and I like to call him Papa Original."

Ric took as many pictures as he can on the carvings. So, we all went to his house and tried to decipher them. Ric and I were going over the pictures while Damon and Elena trained. Damon, I swear, anything to get his hands on Elena.
