"Ok, I'm seriously going to kill him!" I shouted over the phone.

Jeremy called me because Klaus managed to kill everyone in the bar, by the Gilbert Lakehouse, and turned them into vampires. His bright idea was to have Jeremy kill every newborn vampire so he could complete the Hunter's Mark. And he compelled those vampires to kill Matt so Jeremy could be 'inspired' to hunt.

"Elena's about to take Matt away so I'm going to be stuck with Damon," Jeremy said as I heard rustling through the other line. I tried not to laugh when Kol began to kiss my neck. "Is there any way you can come here? If I'm going to be around a vampire, I rather have someone who cares about me around. And not a total dick."

"I'm sorry to hear that, Jer. But don't worry, I'm going to fix this."

"How? How can you stop a bar full of vampires? I don't want you to kill them, Bels."

"I promise you, Jeremy, I won't kill them."

Kol yanked the phone from my hand and hung up. "Because I will," he declared with a smirk.

I pushed him away. "Kol -"

"How else are you going to fix this, Darling?" He sighed as he ran his hand through his hair. "I should have known Niklaus would do something like this. We need to stop them from getting that cure."

"Yes, I know. Everyone wants the damn cure. My brothers want Elena to be human. Klaus wants Elena to be human so he can make more hybrids."

"What I'm hearing is...the cure is for Elena?" he gave me a sarcastic smile.

"It's not just so she could be human. Once Elena gets the cure, her sire bond to Damon is broken. And besides the hybrids, I'm sure Klaus wants to get rid of it before we could use it on him." I sighed before getting up. "I'm gonna talk to Klaus and, hopefully, knock some sense into him."

Kol got up as well. "Alright, I got some killing to do." He smirked as he grabbed my hand to pull me close. "How about -"

"I'm not gonna have sex with you on their blood."

Kol rolled his eyes. "You're no fun."

I gave him a look. "Yet, you're the one who came after me. What does that say about you?"

"That I want to have some fun."

I chuckled before grabbing his face. "And we will once this is all done." I leaned up to give him a quick peck. "I know he's gonna be a pain in the ass but, please, go easy on Damon." I gave him a pointed look. "And don't hurt Jeremy."

It was obvious he wasn't fond of the idea but nodded. "Very well."

"Klaus. Klaus!" I shouted as I barged into the mansion. "Where the hell are you, you crazy son of a bitch?!"

"Enough with the shouting," Klaus said as he walked down the stairs. He grinned when he saw me. "Bela, what do I owe the pleasure?"

"What the hell were you thinking?! Compelling those vampires to go after Matt so Jeremy can kill them?! That's really stupid, Klaus. Actually, it is a bit smart. But it's really stupid for putting their lives in danger." I shook my head. "It was brilliantly stupid of you, Klaus!"

"I'm assuming Jeremy called you. That's why you're here and not with Kol."

"Yes, he did. And I'm glad he did." Klaus walked around me toward his parlor. I followed him. "Klaus, they promised you they'll complete the Hunter's Mark."

"Oh, yes, lounging around and eating pizza is a great way to do that," he said sarcastically.

"It's only been two days. You can't expect progress in just a short amount of time. Make them stop, Klaus." I felt my blood boil when saw that stupid smirk on his lips. "Why the hell are you smirking?"
