Oh, my god. Damon and Rebekah. Damon and Rebekah! Eww, eww, eww. They actually slept together last night. I got home and heard moaning coming from Damon's room. The girl talked and it was Rebekah. I cringed before leaving my house again. I didn't want to be there when they wake up. Though I am seriously thinking about kicking Damon's ass. And burning his furniture.
I sat down on the bench at the town square with my coffee in my hands just thinking. My anger with Rebekah keeps piling up. First her plan to kill Matt, even though she didn't do it. Then she sleeps with Damon. I mean, I don't care who she sleeps with...but with Damon, seriously! Oh, then her idiotic brother, Kol. He tries to act all charming, he attacks me, wants to start over, then he broke Matt's hand. I did what I had to do. How could I possibly love that?
"Is this seat taken?" Someone asked. I broke out of my trance and looked up to see Elijah. A huge smile broke from my face as I stood up.
"Elijah," I greeted happily as I hugged him, careful not to spill any coffee on his suite. "What are you doing here? I thought you'd be at your house."
"I was, but I decided to take a walk." Elijah pulled something from his coat pocket and held it up. That sparkling silver shining as he held up my necklace. "I believe you left this."
I rolled my eyes. "More like give back. How did you get it anyway? I left it in Kol's room."
"Kol doesn't even know you left it. I snatched it before he woke up."
"Why?"
"To ask you to reconsider." I scoffed as Elijah held the necklace towards me.
"I'm not going to date your psychotic brother, Lijah."
"I'm not asking you to."
"Then what are you asking me?"
"To hold on," he responded in seriousness. "I want you to hold on to this until the time is right."
I crossed my arms. "Why? Even you said that the necklace gives him hope. I'm taking that away from him."
"Because you don't remember."
We were silent after that. I don't see what the big deal is. I'm not someone's plaything. Whatever happened in the past should stay in the past. Elijah and I broke from our little stare down when my phone started ringing. I quickly took it out to see Elena calling.
"Hey," I greeted as I answered.
I heard Elena sigh. "Good. One of you answered." I furrowed my brows. Was I not suppose to answer? "I've tried to call Stefan and Damon, but neither one of them are answering. I really need to talk to all three of you."
"Sure, I'll head over to your place."
"I just left. I'm heading over to yours. They can't dodge me if I'm already over there."
My eyes widen. Shit, Damon and Rebekah. "Um, Elena, I don't think you should -"
"I'll see you when I get there."
"Elena -" She hung up on me. Shit. Well, she might get a little surprise when she gets there. I sighed as I hung up my phone and looked at Elijah. "I have to go."
"By all means," Elijah said. He grabbed my hand and placed the necklace on it.
I gave him a look. "Elijah -"
"Just hold on to it...for keepsake."
I gave him a look as I put the necklace back in my pocket. Fine, I'll hold on to it, but I'm not going to wear it. I walked out of the Town Square and made sure I was out of sight before running home. I could already hear Elena and Damon talking, which means Elena got her surprise a bit early. Damn it, Damon. First Caroline, now Rebekah. Learn to keep it in your fucking pants.
