Ever since our failure of killing Klaus, he and Stefan have gone missing. Klaus has been calling me a lot, but I would always ignore it. I don't want to hear him gloat about our fail attempt on his life. Stefan hasn't even called me once. He hasn't call me or call Damon. I know Klaus didn't kill him...or did he? No, no. I'm not going to worry about Stefan. I was almost dead because of him. And Damon's being Damon and drinking at the Grill. This past week I've been spending time with Jeremy and Tyler.

We were in the woods. I might have 'borrowed' Alaric's crossbow while Tyler and Jeremy went to get the beer. Props of being a vampire, or in Tyler's case, compulsion. Jeremy aimed the crossbow up high and shot the can Tyler had set.

"Nice shot," Tyler said.

"So what's the point of this, again?" Jeremy asked.

"The point is I'm pissed at Caroline, Bonnie dumped your ass, and Bels -"

I cut Tyler off when I grabbed another beer from the case. "And Bels was almost killed because of her stupid, idiotic, traitorous brother." Then I grabbed the empty can that Jeremy shot and placed it on the tree stump. "The point...is to get drunk and shoot stuff."

"Profound," Jeremy said. He started reloading the crossbow. "You know if Alaric finds out you took this, he's going to use it on you."

I waved him off. "No, he won't. He loves me." I moved out of the way. "Damon on the other hand....it's a 50/50 percent chance."

"So, what's the deal with that?" Tyler questioned. "He's, like, your guardian now?"

I rolled my eyes. "Well, his parents are dead. Jenna with them." Jeremy looked up at me with a look that read seriously. "No offense."

"None taken," he replied. "Anyway, I think he feels responsible for us."

"You like him?" Tyler asked as he stood in front of the target.

"Yeah. Yeah. I like him." A small smile came to my face. This is good. It's Alaric. That's much better than Jeremy and Elena moving away to foster care. I noticed Tyler didn't move from his place. "Hey, you want to move out of the way?"

Tyler looked behind him at the can before chuckling. "I'm a hybrid, Gilbert. You can't kill me unless you cut off my head or rip out my heart."

I waved my beer at him. "Technically, Ty....even if you were still a werewolf, the arrow wouldn't kill you. It would hurt like hell, but it wouldn't kill you."

Tyler pointed at me. "True, but this is more fun."

Jeremy looked between in us confusion. "When did you two became friends? The last time I've checked -" he pointed to Tyler "- you were calling her a bitch -" then at me "- and you were calling him a dumbass."

"You can thank my great uncle for that." My gaze lowered to the ground. Yeah, thanks to Leonard. Tyler noticed my discomfort and cleared his throat. "So? Are you going to shoot that thing or not?" Then he dropped his beer and took a few steps back before motioning his arms outward. "Go ahead. Take a shot. Unless you don't think you can hit me."

I started laughing at Tyler's teasing. "Oooh, what cha gonna do about that, Jer?" Jeremy took the challenge and raised the crossbow up high. He shot the arrow. It went flying straight towards Tyler, who caught it at the last second. I dropped my beer and raised my hands in victory. "Boom. Mad skill!"

I heard my phone ring again. I looked down to see another call from Klaus. Ughh, seriously? I held my finger up before I excused myself from the guys. He's not going to stop until I answer. Might as well. Not only that, I'm a bit buzzed, so I might be swearing like a sailor.
