As soon as the bell for Midtown High rang out, Peter sighed with relief, anxious to get out and be Spider-Man. He went to complete his routine: get a sandwich, change into his suit, and swing from street to street.

Peter adored feeling the cool breeze against his mask, breathing in the surprisingly peaceful Queens air. Spider-Man then stopped moving on a nearby roof to take in the beautiful day.

He was enjoying the serenity that Queens usually never had because of all the loud noises and people, until his phone started buzzing in his backpack (which he now carried in there due to how many times he cracked it).

His best friend (Y/n)'s goofy face appeared on his phone, vibrating as it rang. Spider-Man pulled his red mask to the bridge of the nose as he placed the phone to his ear. Before he could begin to answer, he heard a familiar scream on the other side of the line.

"PETER!" (Y/n) screamed loudly through the phone, causing Spider-Man to cringe with the noise.

"(Y/n)?! What's going on?" Spider-Man asked worriedly, trying not to jump to conclusions. (Y/n) was known to be a bit of a drama queen, especially when exclaims about how many votes she got on her Avengers fanfiction.

"HELP! AGH! PETER!" Spider-Man heard the clattering of objects falling in the background as (Y/n) yelled loudly into the phone. Spider-Man quickly got himself ready to head to (Y/n)'s house with his bag in hand and web shooters ready.

"(Y/n)! I'm on my way!" Spider-Man shouted nervously into the phone right before (Y/n) hung up. He frantically pulled his mask to his chin and began swinging in the direction of (Y/n)'s house, ready to fight her attacker's.

I knew I shouldn't have told her I'm Spider-Man. It's all my fault. What did I get her into? I hope she's not in trouble. Please, if she's in trouble, I'll never forgive myself.

Spider-Man shot his webs as fast as he could to (Y/n)'s house, soon reaching her bedroom window. He quickly stuck his hand to it and pulled it open, then quickly pushed himself inside the house, filled with adrenaline in his radioactive blood.

He crawled slyly to the top of the ceiling, knowing that the bad guys wouldn't be expecting him up there. Spider-Man then heard a loud crash from the kitchen, followed by his best friend's terrified voice.

"Stay away from me, you monster!" (Y/n) screamed at the top of her lungs, throwing kitchen items desperately at the "bad guys". As Spider-Man moves toward her voice, his body tensed, ready to defend her against whoever was in her house.

"GET AWAY FROM HErrrr—" Spider-Man stopped his command to take in what was really occurring in (Y/n)'s kitchen. He didn't see any bad guys, just a very confusing scene: (Y/n) with a worried look, holding a pillow and a spatula while standing on a chair in her home clothes. There were kitchen items and slippers that littered her floor, which (Y/n) seemed to scan thoroughly.

(Y/n) finally looked upwards at Spider-Man, resulting in her screams of surprise, and of course, throwing the spatula at him. Spider-Man caught it (thanks to his fast reflexes), then smirked at his friend under the red mask. (Y/n)'s tension-filled expression began to change into something more relaxed after realizing the man on her ceiling was her best friend.
