"Hey kiddos! Ready for some spooky fun?!" Aunt May exclaimed as she opened the door for Ned and (Y/n), walking inside fully dressed in their nerdy costumes.

"Oh my god! We're so excited May! I've kinda been talking about this for a while," (Y/n) grinned at Ned as she admired the autumn decorations in the Parker household with glee.

(Y/n) was unable to contain her happiness for the scary holiday, always remembering the good times with family and friends collecting free candy from strangers. Not to mention that this Halloween, her best friends decided to go to a haunted house before the season was over.

"Are you guys gonna be okay? I heard this haunted house is cra-zy!" Aunt May shuddered, dramatically, trying to frighten the two sophomores.

"Nah, I think I can handle it. After all, I did watch The Shining without closing my eyes!" Ned stayed proudly, standing up a bit taller to show his bravery.

"That's not what I remembered? What about redrum?" (Y/n) hoarsely whispered, causing Ned to shudder with terror. They both giggled, reminded of the fun time they had watching a scary movie together.

"Oh you teenagers with your pop culture references! Where's my teenager by the way?" Aunt May asked, shrugging as a loud thud echoed from Peter's room.

"That's probably him falling on his dirty pile of clothes again!" Aunt May chuckled to herself, causing (Y/n) to giggle at the thought of Peter's clumsiness.

"Well, Peter has been excited about your group costumes. I can't wait to see you all together since your costumes look so hip!" Aunt May emphasized the last word with an innocent smile.

"Thanks, May! This whole costume took forever! But my mom helped me with my hair," (Y/n) patted her head proudly, standing tall in her General Leia Organa costume from the Empire Strikes Back.

"It looks fantastic! And Ned, you are rocking that costume!" May nodded with pride, watching Ned's smile grow bigger.

"My mom helped me sew the sleeves," Ned grinned, lifting his arms to show off the Luke Skywalker costume that he had looked forward to wear since last year.

"That's awesome! Oh shoot, it's kinda late. You guys better go get Peter while I'll start the car. See you guys downstairs!" Aunt May waved good-bye to the teens as she grabbed her car keys from the kitchen table.
