Prompt: "can u do a like mini series where reader really likes peter, but he likes liz, and then after liz moves away he starts to like reader? the reader now likes ned and they like each other, and in the end the reader has to choose someone and she chooses peter? ned is ok about it? can the reader be black please!" "What does he see in her?" (Y/n) sighed upsettingly as she walked into the school cafeteria with Ned, observing Peter gawk at the beautiful senior named Liz Allen.

"Well, for starters, she's super popular, friendly―" Ned began listing Liz's qualities, interrupted by a frustrated (Y/n).

"Yeah, she's great. I know. But hey, she's half black, I'm black too! She's great in school, and I have great grades too! Well, good-ish. She has awesome hair, and I have awesome hair!" (Y/n) groaned, trying to prove her point to Ned.

"And she has a great personality," Ned snickered at his joke, resulting in (Y/n) smacking him playfully. Ned played along with her, trying not to reveal that her crush had also developed feelings for her. Scared of being left out, Ned decided to keep that information hidden from (Y/n).

"Nevermind Ned," (Y/n) laughed as the two giggled and waved to Peter, who had finally snapped out of his daydream about Liz.

"What if I took someone to Homecoming?" (Y/n) proposed to Ned who lovingly stared at his sandwich, trying to devise a plan since she was bored. Peter had gone to the bathroom looking nervously at his phone, mumbling about some emergency with the Stark Internship.

"You don't want to go with anyone but Peter," Ned laughed, taking another bite of his lunch. (Y/n)'s tapped her chin, trying to think of a way to intrigue Peter without being too obvious.

"What about you?" (Y/n) gestured towards Ned, who spat out his milk all over the table in surprise.

"Me?! No, you guys are both my friends. I don't wanna get in the middle of this," Ned replied, refusing her proposal.

"Please, Ned! We will go as friends! We were gonna go together anyways!" (Y/n) begged her friend, who still had second thoughts about the plan.

"I don't know," Ned debated, questioning what he should do.

"I'll buy you a cake. Your favorite cake," (Y/n) promised Ned, knowing how much Ned enjoyed chocolate cake.

"Cake?!" Ned's voice raised two-octaves higher as he grew hopeful with the idea of some delicious dessert.

"Sure. And one with frosting," (Y/n) grinned, ecstatic at the prospect of having a chance to make Peter see her in a new light at Homecoming.

"Deal," Ned agreed, shaking his hand with (Y/n), who squealed with the excitement of going to a school dance with her good friend. Maybe not the one she hoped, but it would still be enjoyable in a different way.

A T H O M E C O M I N G

"Hey, Pete," (Y/n) waved as she approached Peter, who was still shocked by current events having to do with Liz's dad being the man in the vulture costume.

"Hey (Y/n)―" Peter gawked at (Y/n) with her beautiful dress that contrasted her skin perfectly. Her hair was elegantly curled, framing her coffee-colored skin elegantly. Her brown eyes sparkled as brightly as the stars do, and her smile made Peter's legs feel like jelly.
