(Y/n) slipped out of the car, gazing nervously at the house, her hands sweaty from gripping her piano papers tightly.

"You are going to be amazing," Mia comforted, giggling and dragging (Y/n) in.

"Now just relax and have fun. Maybe I'll get to meet Chris Hemsworth!" Callie squealed, excited to meet the stars of "In the Heart of the Sea". Her dad, a good friend of the director, allowed her to come and her aspiring actor friends, along with the hopeful pianist who dreamed of opening her own jazz club.

As the group of friends entered the beautiful mansion, the other girls split off, interacting with their actor friends.

(Y/n) was left alone to wander, gazing proudly at the fancy food and shimmering dresses.

Admiring the lavish house and all the lavish people, she couldn't help but feel fearful performing for the famous, even though she couldn't really mess it up. (Y/n) was already given a strict outline of what she could play, not allowing her to really showcase her potential.

Working at that stuffy cafe wasn't making her enough money, let alone any money to save for her dream of starting her own jazz club that served great food and had live jazz music.

(Y/n) thought it was a brilliant idea, yet people didn't seem to share her vision. But playing at this party could mean an opening of opportunities, and maybe landing a gig that would allow (Y/n) to buy her own place.

"Somewhere there's a place where I find who I'm gonna be. Somewhere that's just waiting to be found," (Y/n) whispered to herself, trying not to let her frown show as (Y/n) wore a fake smile.

As (Y/n) made her way throughout the house, she gazed in awe at all the beautiful people and classiness of the whole get together.

While in her la-la-land, she bumped into someone and made him spill his drink on his crisp, black tuxedo.

"Oh my god. I am so so sorry sir," (Y/n) apologized, grabbing a nearby napkin and rubbing the suit, making the stain worse.

(Y/n) began to sweat, feeling everyone's eyes burning on her as she wiped his suit harder.

"Don't worry. It's warm in here anyway," the British male mumbled, taking off what seemed to be a polyester suit. (Y/n) finally looked up to see his face, something familiar about the chocolate glistening of his eyes.

He began to blush, trying to avoid eye contact as he rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.

"Again, I'm so sorry sir," (Y/n) spoke as she pondered where she had seen the attractive stranger.

(Y/n) didn't remember where she recognized him since she meets so many people from the cafe, but she couldn't shake off the feeling of seeing him before.

"It's fine. You look fine too," he coughed as he grinned slyly, making (Y/n) crack a smile. (Y/n) felt like she had seen those chocolate curls and those soft brown eyes somewhere before, but she couldn't pinpoint where.
