Ash Miller-

Stepping on to the campus, my jaw fell to the floor.

The University Of Denver was my final destination, along with my best friends Nathan Oscar, Phoenix Queen, and my girlfriend Andi Albertson.

Me and Andi have been dating for 5 years, and she doesn't mind my bisexuality.

I hugged Colton goodbye, ignoring his embarrassing tears. "I can't believe we're in college!" Andi exclaims to me. She plants a kiss on my lips, running a hand through my messy brown hair.

I pull her in closer. "Me neither." I tell her after we part. She had ocean-like blue eyes, and practically gold hair.

We walked towards the administration office, my arm around her neck. After we got our dorm rooms, we both headed to Andi's, because she had a heavier bag.

After throwing her bag on the remaining bed, Andi ran up to hug her roommate. Phoenix, both one of our best friends and Andi's roommate, pulled away from Andi's tight grasp. We did a short hug to greet each other.

The door opened to reveal Nathan. "College, bitches!" He yells, barging in.

Phoenix was a small, shy girl. She was artistic, and very smart. She was quite pale, and had hazel hair and eyes. Nathan was the exact opposite. He was a very big, open guy. He was a party jock, the wide receiver for DU, but still very smart. He was the only black one in the group, and had slightly frizzy brown hair, along with brown eyes. He was also the youngest of the group, at only 16 years old. That's how smart he was, even though he acted dumb.

"College, bitches!" I reply, giving him the classic 'bro hug'. He was my best friend, and had been since 6th grade, a year before we met Andi and Phee.

We hang out around campus after me and Nathan move into our shared dorm. The campus truly was a beautiful sight.

We also got our schedules. My major was in acting. It helped make me feel close to Jax, because he was devoted to arts. Even though music and acting aren't the same, they were close enough to make me feel connected.

Andi also majored in acting, and we got it together. I could not have been happier to be doing this with Andi. We both had a strange passion, and talent might I add, for acting.

I smile and hug Andi before we both go to our respective dorms. "Love you, babe." She says as she gets pulled away by Phoenix and I walk away with Nathan.

I chuckle. "Love you too," I say as Nathan starts to drag me away, too.

Back in our dorm, Nathan talks to me about his worries. "I'm not smart. I won't be able to make it. I'm only here because of football." He says.

I shake my head, and wave it off. "Dude, that's not true." I try to convince him. He was brilliant, just very young for college. "You'll do fine."

"Sure," he says almost sarcastically.

I groan as I turn off my alarm.

It was my first day of college. Wow.

I run into Nathan's room and shake him awake. He was always late in high school because he could never wake up on time, so our plan was for me to make sure he woke up.

He clearly disliked the plan at this time. He flopped around on his bed, waving me away from him. "Noooo," his sleepy voice begs. "No school."

I laugh, and shake him one more. "Come on. It's our first day, Nathan, we can't be late." I remind him.

He huffs as he stands up and walks over to his closet to change as I do the same after taking a quick shower.

I wanted to look good but casual for the first day. It still being cool outside, I throw on a pair of jeans, a light blue shirt, and a plaid button up on top of it. I go to the bathroom to poof my hair up and brush my teeth.

I step out to grab some breakfast to see that Nathan had already made me toast. Toast. Just like Jax always had.

What would Jax have been like in college? Would he be proud of me? Thoughts of my older half brother swarmed my head.

A voice snapped me out of my thoughts. "Is it Jax?" Nathan asks concerned.

I nod my head, and finally move over to the small kitchen. I eat the toast fast and grab my black school bag. "Make sure to be on time," I remind him as I walk out of our dorm.

I smile to myself as I breath in the cold fall air. Denver was fantastic. I enjoyed the cool weather, and the heat when it was needed.

I walk to my first period, which was acting today. I was meeting Andi there, so I didn't need to wait for her outside of her dorm.

As I walk into the class, I stand in the back. The class was enormous. There were maybe around 30 seats, and a small elevated stage at the front. There were a few other students in the class talking about nonsense. There was a name on the whiteboard. Mr. Lonsdale. The handwriting was sloppy and rushed, and the marker ink was barely visible.

I assumed that was our Professor, along with the fact that the small desk at the front had the name tent saying the same name. The desk was fairly messy, with various papers scattered all over it, which was quite odd for the first day of school.

Andi ran up to me, full of excitement. "College!" She squealed.

I laughed at her childlike enthusiasm, and gave her a kiss as she took a seat next to me. "I know," I said with a slight chuckle. "It's almost surreal."

My green eyes, similar to the color that were Jax's, take in the remaining surroundings. There was a projector to the left of the whiteboard, which was just showing a black screen. The walls and ground, like the rest of the school, were plain. The floor was a normal brown wood, while the walls were a plain white.

Unlike most teachers, this one did not have any posters or photos up on the wall, neither by his desk or just around the class. I groaned internally, knowing that this professor would be boring. Bland.

The bell rang, and everybody rushes to take a seat, and instantly stops talking as the door opens to reveal who I assume is the professor.

I'm back!

This chapter was kinda bland, but trust me... the rest won't be. Probably.
