I'll post tomorrow, and then Sunday, and then the book will be over. The next book (called My Straight Teacher?) will be posted 18/19 April. So, be prepared!

Ash-

I was crying.

Tears streamed down my face, as well as Andi's.

A nurse that had been helping handed Andi the oldest of the two, a boy. Then the nurse handed me the younger of the two, a girl.

"Hi, baby," I said in a shaky voice.

I knew that I could be a dad at that point. With the way my baby girl was staring at me, and my little boy at Andi, I knew it'd be okay.

"Ash," Andi said, exhausted and out of breath. "What are we gonna name them?" She asked.

I looked between the two babies. "Ajax and Addison. If that's okay with you, that is."

She smiled. "I love it." She started stroking Ajax's tiny hairs, which Addison didn't have. "Hi, Ajax."

We switched babies, and I couldn't help but smile to see how happy Andi was with the two. "Hello Addison." She told the new baby in her arms.

They took away the babies for some testing so Andi could get some sleep.

I stepped out, meeting with Nate and Phee. They both looked curious and concerned. "It's a boy and a girl." I tell them.

"What are their names?" Phoenix asked.

I smiled. "Ajax and Addison."

Nathan smiled. "Well, how about Addy for a nickname?"

I nodded, "Sure."

I excused myself, and ran down to the waiting room. Sure enough, I saw Keiynan sitting, nervously tapping his foot. "Ash!" He said, jumping out.

I ran up and hugged him. "They're fine. A boy and a girl. Ajax and Addison," I say, not wanting to have to go through his questions.

He sighed. "Are you okay? Are you ready?"

I nodded. "I'm okay. I... I think I might be a good father."

He took my face into his hands. "I know you'll made a great father."

We just stood there, staring at each other.

I wanted so badly to kiss him. To assure him that I loved him.

But, I knew I shouldn't.

It was all finally clear in my mind. "Kee, I think I made a decision," I tell him.

He pulls away. "Before you say anything," he begs, "I'm just telling you that I'm not going to be teaching next year. I'm gonna be focusing on Lonsdale Inc., so I just wanted you to know that."

I nodded my head. That definitely did change some stuff, but I still had my mind made up. I took a deep breath. "I'm sorry. No. Not yet."

His face fell and his just sagged. "Why?" He asked.

"You're still my teacher. I don't want another Sarah situation on our hands." I tell him.

He looked slightly hopeful. "What about once school ends?"

I smiled. "I'd love to be with you, then. I'd love to be with you, now. But, you understand, right?"

His glum expression showed some sort of hope. "I guess."

I hugged him. "Thank you."

"Can..." I looked at him, "can I have one last kiss? Just to remember?" Keiynan asked.

I sighed, but agreed. It would only make me miss him more, though.

His lips landed on mine, softly, gentle... I wanted to move my hands around his body, but knew that that'd make me change my mind.

His tongue hit my lips, but I pulled away. "Any further and I may rethink my decision," I joke.

Keiynan ran his fingers through my hair. "So then let's go further," He seductively said.

I shook my head. "I'm sorry. We can't just yet." We only had three weeks until the end of the year, but it seemed so far away.

Keiynan sighed. "Yeah. I get it."

He decided to leave, and I went back up to my friends. "Where were you?" Nathan asked as I arrived.

I shrugged. "Needed some fresh air," I go to my classic excuse.

Nathan gives me 'the look', that says that he knows I'm lying. "Ash, you promised no more lying," he lectured.

I groaned. "Fine. Keiynan drove me here and he was downstairs. I was just talking to him."

Phoenix shrugged, making Nathan also put it aside.

Finally, Dr. Pearson came back out. "Andi is awake. Your babies' are fine. Your friends can come and see them, if they want." He informed us.

Nathan and Phoenix eagerly nodded their heads.

We walked into the room, and Andi finally seemed rested. "Hi Nathan, Phoenix." Nathan gave her a quick kiss.

"Do ya wanna meet the twins?" I asked my two friends.

"Yeah!" Phoenix said. I handed her Ajax.

I handed Addison to Nathan, where he turned to Andi. "Hey, baby, I was thinking that maybe, for Addison, a nickname could be Addy?"

Andi smiled. "That'd be great. I like it."

He held Addison up by her armpits. "Thou is deemed, Madam Addy!" He boomed.

We all laughed. Ajax cried.

Phoenix worriedly handed him over to me, and I started rocking him. "Shhhh, hush. It'll be okay..." I was brushing his hair out of his face, noticing that it was the similar color of Andi's. I also noticed his ocean eyes were identical to hers.

Addison, on the other hand, had my green eyes. The grassy green eyes that Jax had.

I kissed Ajax on the head, seeing he was now asleep. I smiled to myself, realizing I did that. I made my kid fall asleep.

I excused myself from the room, and grabbed my phone. "Colton, Andi had the babies," I say, not giving him a chance to greet me.

"What?" He exclaimed. "That's amazing? Can I come and meet them?"

I nodded, but knew he couldn't see. "Maybe try to drive out. We'd love to see you."

He chuckled. "That'd be great. Maybe tomorrow I head out?"

I smiled triumphantly. "Great. I'll see you then, then?"

"Actually, can I just ask, about the babies...?"

"They're fine," I answered the unspoken question with a sigh. "I... we named them Ajax and Addison, though she may go by Addy for short." Colton didn't respond. "Sorry if you don't like me naming one Ajax, I just thought..."

"No," he cuts in. "I think it's great."

I hung up, and went back into the room with my friends and kids. I held Addison, and looked deep into her eyes. "I love you," I whispered to her. One thought crossed my mind, replacing and eliminating all of my previous worries.

It'll be okay.
