Happy V-day!

Ash-

Fuck.

My professor just kissed me! And I have a girlfriend!

As soon as I made it back to my dorm after the long walk, Nathan was sitting on the couch watching tv. "What took you so long, dude?" He questions, waving around the remote but not turning to look at me.

I plop down next to him, sighing. I thought about telling him. I thought about spilling my guts to him. "Just a long meeting, that's all." I respond.

He looks at me, and immediately knows I'm lying. "What's wrong, dude?"

I shrug. "I told you. Nothing." Could I really tell my best friend that, not only did I kiss my professor and cheat on Andi, but that I liked it?

He clearly didn't believe me, but didn't push me much further. "How's classes going?" I ask, remembering his worry.

He shrugs. "Good, I guess." He replies.

I nod my head, and we remain silent the rest of the night.

I woke up Sunday morning, exhausted. We had no school Monday, so I still had one more day to rest. Which was good, because I needed to process what happened with Mr. Lonsdale.

I flip out of bed, and pick up my phone. I see one new text.

Bae- Coming over!

I groaned as I remembered my plans with Andi that I made. I didn't care to respond, and just put on some clothes.

I shook my young friend awake. We were going to a college party, a thing that most people the same age of Nathan don't get to do. He should have to wait 3 more years, but he was too smart, and too athletic.

Right as both of us got dressed and awake, the clock hit noon, and there was a knock at the door. I ran over to it, opening it to reveal Andi and Phoenix.

"Hey ladies!" I say, hugging the two and kissing Andi's cheek. I try to hide my shame and guilt of the previous night.

She connects our lips. "Hey baby," she whispers to me.

I chuckle, pulling her closer. I hear a gag from behind me. "Ugh, cut it out love birds," Nathan says.

We both laugh, pulling away. I ruffle my friends brown hair, and pat his back.

After a few more minutes of arranging things, we end up at a party being held at one of the dorms. It was hard to enjoy the party, though, without the alcohol. I refused to drink any, and being sober with all of the screaming and loud music was boring. But, I refused to take any whiskey, knowing what it did to Jax.

So, I leaned against the counter, picking up my cup of water. My drink girlfriend makes her way up to me. "Come oooooon Ash! Party!" She screams, dancing around.

I chug the rest of the water, and reluctantly agree. We end up running in to a dance battle, which Andi desperately tried to join, but utterly failed.

I laughed as she stepped out of the circle, a frown planted on her drink face. "Let's get home, babe." I suggest. I was starting to feel a little buzzed, and I didn't want to be near anybody else when that would happen. I couldn't think of drinking any alcohol, or taking any drugs that night, but the effect still weighed on me. And it wouldn't have been the first time my water was switched with something.

I didn't want to get into a Jax situation, especially without a sober person to rush me to the hospital like Colton had to do when Jax tried to drunk walk down our stairs.

But, within a few minutes, I blacked out, only seeing snippets. I remember chugging a few things of beer, taking the dance floor, and exiting the dorm, Andi in my arms, lips connected.

Next thing I know, it was morning, I had a splitting headache, I was in Andi's dorm, and I had a splitting headache. Did I already mention that? I was hungover, and apparently naked. I was worried about what had happened the last night. It wasn't that I had never had sex before, but I had just never had drunk sex before. The thought scared me.

I heard Andi stirring around beside me, placing her head on my chest. "Last night was amazing," she sighs to me.

I groan, throwing my hands over my eyes. "Great. Perfect." I say, irritated.

But, in her hungover state, Andi either didn't notice or didn't care.

I stirred around, my girlfriend's head still rested on my chest. "Where's Phee?" I nervously ask.

"Oh, Phoenix?" She responds. "I don't know. I saw her leaving the party with some strange guy," she answered.

I let out a sigh of relief, happy that it was just me and Andi. I still felt bad about Professor Lonsdale, but I felt good making it up to Andi.

"Nathan?" I question.

She shrugs. "He left pretty early, considering, less the fact that he - or more, we - can't have alcohol, and more the fact that he's too young for... the R rated scenes we created last night." She answered with a smirk, crawling her fingers around my chest.

I laugh slightly, pushing my lips into hers, ignoring the fact that both of us looked like total shit. "I love you," she whispered to me, tilting her head so our lips fell apart but our foreheads kept us connected.

I sighed. "I love you too, bae. But," I said sadly, "I'm afraid I have to go."

"No!" She whined, not getting too loud due to the fact that both of us were severely hungover.

I laughed at how much of a child she always was. "A few more minutes," I tell her.

I try to ignore what had happened with our professor. I tried to ignore what I wanted with my professor. He was so handsome, so sweet, and kind... but he was my professor, and probably not into guys. I had Andi, and I always would. Why should I try to get someone I couldn't have?

She nods her head. "A few more minutes."
