This is an ode to the chain smoking, beer and whiskey chugging, tough-as-nails man who gives me everything he can, even when he is at his worse. He took me into his home, clothed and fed me, even cussed me out a few times. He cared about me even though he never said it in exact words. What's that shit about actions speak louder than words....yeah, that's it. Well, his actions speak MUCH louder than words, written or spoken. He was my father figure when I needed one, my mentor, my lover, my teacher and a friend. He taught me how to be tough and he taught me how to utilize my most precious god given talent, which is singing. I'm much older now but my love for him will never fade away. Mr. Earl Royce Tan, this is for you, baby.
