You've Gotta Be Kidding Me

I walked inside to be met with Cameron, and a girl that, I admit I recognized but, I wasn't proud of it. It was Danielle Turpin, a girl who used to be my best friend back when I was in public school. She kinda screwed me over by kissing someone that I really liked at the time, and we then went our own ways. As she was standing in the kitchen, all the memories of her and I came flooding back to me, almost as if everything had happened only yesterday. I said,
"Danielle, what are you doing here?"
She walked up to me and hugged me, something I never suspected would happen after our falling out, then said,
"Just listen to this." Handing me a flash drive.
I said,
"What's this?"
She said,
"Don't shoot the messenger."
She then turned on her heel and showed herself out. I was so confused it wasn't even funny. She didn't make any sense at all. Her response was just, not right. My parents, Cameron, Ethan, and Grayson all stared me, and the only thing I knew to do was shrug my shoulders, I was just as confused as they were. I ran into the living room and put the flash drive in. I clicked on it, put some head phones in, then clicked play. All of a sudden, a deep, faceless voice on a pictureless computer screen said,
"Ashlynn. I see you got my flash drive. Nice to see you again. So I guess I should tell you that I know your biggest secret, and I know what a following your brothers' have on social media. So here's what's gonna happen. I'm going to have you run a few errands for me when I need, and do things for me when I need. You will do as I say, or your reputation and your brothers' reputations will be ruined! Just like you, I have connections to the social media world. Keep in touch. Look for your new assignment or duty I guess I should say everyday at the big cedar tree at the park. See you soon."
I stopped the video, took the headphones off, and breathed in and started trying to think. Who could this possibly be?!? Things were normal and going great, then all of a sudden THIS happens. Dang, I seriously have the absolute worst luck in the world. But my question is what does Danielle have to do with this?!?
