Chapter 16

Seans pov
"His hear stopped." Mark said sounding like he was crying

"What?!" I said in disbelief. "He was fine when we left. What happened?" I began to cry

"They uh... well I don't know. They won't tell me anything." Mark said

"Okay. Well I'm gonna grab some food and I'll be right up. Call me if anything happens plase." I begged him

"Of corse babe. I'll take to you letter. The doctor's coming out." Mark said sniffling a little

He hung up the phone. I just stared at the floor for a second.

"What happened?" Liam asked pulling on my sleeve

"I'll uh... I'll tell you in the car. Come on." I said grabbing the food. I jumped into the car and looked at Liam. "His heart stopped."

"Why? Why does everything have to happen to him!?" Liam yelled slamming his hands off the dash bored

"I don't know bud." I said giving him a hug. "Do you want me to drop you off at Sam's place?" I asked smiling

"Yah. Okay. Just call me if anything happens. I think I'm gonna walk." Liam said

"Alright. I'll call you when we get some news." I said passing him his meal

"Thanks Dad." Liam said getting out of the car

He called me "Dad". I smiled brightly. I'm his Dad. I wish Mark and Jace were here. I felt my phone vibrate. I pulled it out of my pocket to see Mark and Jace smiling.

"Any news?" I asked

"He's going to be okay. Just needs some blood. Aparently they forgot." Mark said. I could hear his teeth grinding togeather through the phone

"Okay. Take a deep breath babe. Where are you?" I asked

"In the parking lot. Shane is up with Jace. But how do I calm down?! They fucking forgot! They almost killed my little boy!" Mark yelled as I heard him hit something

"Mark, I know you're mad but you need to stay calm. We don't need two of you in the hospital. I'll be there in about five minutes, okay?" I asked

"Can you just... I know you hate to but can you stay on the phone? Please?" Mark asked

"Of corse." I said smiling

He was right, I really hate driving while I'm on my phone, but I want to make sure he's okay. Soon enough I arrived back at the hospital. Just as I walked up to him he was about to punch the wall again.

"Mother fucking, stupid ass doctors!" He screamed

"Markimoo." I whispered into his ear grabbing his fist

"I hate hospitals." He announced for probably the millionth time

"I know babe." I said kissing his neck. "Why don't we go check on our little fighter?"

"Okay." Mark said wiping a few tears

We walked up to Jace's room and slowly opened the door. Shane was sitting on a chair watching Jace. He was more pale than usual, but looked peaceful. I handed him his food and sat next to Mark.

"How did we not notice sooner?" Shane said obviously starting to cry

"I never thought to look." I said

"I should have noticed when I checked him over. Ugh. I fuckin hate that asshat!" Shane yelled now beginning to cry more

"I-it's not your fault bright eyes." Jace whispered

"I know puppy. I just feel like it is." Shane said giving Jace a peck on the lips

Then there was a soft knock at the door. I got up and opened the door. There stood a nurse. She walked in and checked a couple things on Jace's monitor.

"How are you feeling Racesa?" She asked

"I wish you'd stop calling me that." Jace said clearly upset by it

"I don't care what you'd wish I'd do. I wish you would get better so I could go the fuck home but that's not going to happen any time soon. How are you feeling." She repeated the question

"Fine. So fine I'm ready to get away from your fockin arse." Jace said his accent getting thicker

"Well that's not how it works. Until we can get your stable you're vitals you're stuck with me." The nurse said

"Can you leave now?" Jace said sounding unimpressed

"The doctor will be in soon." The nurse said leaving

We sat and talked for five or six minutes before the doctor came in.

"Hello." The doctor said smiling. "You must be Sean and Mark. I'm Doctor Smith, Jace has told me a lot about you. You two seem like very good father's. Jace is in a very good condition for what he's been through. I say he'll be in here for maybe another week." Doc.Smith told us

Today Jace came home. He was pretty much healed up completely. The kid that stabbed him was expelled. Jace was really happy that he got to put his chest binder back on. He also recived a packer in the mail and was wearing that aswell. Tomorrow he was back to school. Currently Liam is at school, Mark is recording, Jace and I are playing Marieo Cart, and Shane went home four days ago.

"Dad, what are we making for lunch?" Jace asked

"Cookies?" I suggested

"Okay!" Jace squealed

Jace ran into the kitchen and grabbed the stuff for cookies.

"We should make cake too!" He squealed

"Someone's excited." I stated

"Well yah. I'm home, I'm closer to being male. Of corse I'm excited!" He said

"Speaking of, you havw a doctors appointment before we start cookies and cake." I said

"Ugh. Fine." He said walking over to get his shoes

I walked up stairs to see Mark. I softly knocked on his door.

"Yah!" I heard him yell

I opened the door and saw that he was recording a video with Bob, Wade, and Felix.

"Jace and I are leaving for his appointment. If you wanna come you should wrap this us soon." I said giving him a kiss

"Shit, that's today?! I'll be down in five." Mark said

"Alright babe." I said smiling

I walked back down stairs to see Jace sitting on the couch. He was texting someone, probably Shane.

"Are you going to get dressed?" I asked

"Probably a good idea." He said looking at himself

Jace went up to change. Mark came down wearing his flannel shirt, dark blue skinny jeans, and his freshly died hair was combed. I was wearing my old Jacksepticeye shirt, blue baggy jeans, and my hair is a faded green that hasn't been combed by anything other than my fingers so I grabbed my bennie hat. Jace came down with a Snap On hat that I had never seen before, I stripped shirt and a pair of black skinny jeans.

"Where'd the hat come from?" I asked

"One of my friends father's that I lived with for a while. He had a lot of Snap On stuff." Jace explained

"I see." Mark said

Now we were off the the doctors appointment. Jace didn't know it yet but today he's taking his first huge step to starting testostrone.
