Chapter 35

Eilyn's pov
(PS. I'm really bad at writing for a 9 year old lol)
We finally got to the hospital to visit Jace. Uncle Sean told us all on the drive up that he was going to keep up for the night. We walked into the hospital and over to a really colourful hallway. I head bubby and ran into the room.

"Hey Eilyn!" Jace said

"Jace!" I yelled

"And Liam, and Quintin, and Dillon, and Callum, and Zach." Jace giggled

"Why are you here?" Quintin asked

"He just had a little accadent." Forest said smiling

"Will Jace be okay?" Zach asked

"Yeah. I'll be alright." Jace smiled

"Jace?" I asked

"What's up Chicki?" Jace said smiling

"Can I sit on your lap?" I asked

"Sure. I don't see why not." Jace said smiling

I walked over and he helped me crawl up onto his lap. I did notice that he looked like he was hurt.

"Are you ok Jace?" Callum asked

"Yeah. Just a little sore." Jace told him

"So Jace, how long are you in here?" Matt asked

"Matt, when did you get here!" Jace said suprised

"Just a second ago. How long are you in here? Matt asked him

"I'm not sure. A week maybe." Jace told him

"A whole week?" I said

"A whole week." Jace told me

I looked behind Matt and I could see someone else.

"Who's behind you?" I asked

"Alex." Matt said

Jace looked really mad all of a sudden.

"Babe, calm down." Forest said picking me up

Jace didn't say anything. Bubby set me down and walked over to Jace.

"It's alright. He's not going to hurt you here." Forest told him

"No; but I might." Jace mumbled

Jace's pov
Fucking Alex. One of the good damn reasons I'm in here. Damn transphobic, homophobic dick. Mother fucker.

"Baby, you're working yourself up over nothing." Forest told me

I took a deep breath trying to calm down.

"You're right. He's not even in the room. Just in the hall." I agreed

"Good. How about I go get you some food?" Forest asked

"Can you stay here? Please." Jace begged

"Okay. Sean, Mark, and the others can go." Forest suggested

"Okay." I agreed

Sean, Mark, Liam, Dillon, Zach, Eilyn, Quintin, and Callum went to get food. Forest, Matt, Alex, and I stayed here. About five minutes after they left Joey came.

"Hey Jace, you wanna meet your puppy?" He asked

"PUPPY!" I yelled

"Yeah, come on." Joey said

I walked out and there was a beautiful Husky sitting on the floor. He was probably about a month old.

"I need you to pick a name for him." Joey said

"Chance!" I said excitedly

"Why Chance?" Matt asked

"Because, he's giving me another Chance to get better." I explained

"Fair enough." Matt agreed

Alex just rolled his eyes.

"Why did you even come?" I asked getting pissed off

"Because, I was hoping you'd be dead." Alex said

"Well I'm not you selfish fuck!" I yelled

The puppy started barking and he jumped up on my leg.

"Maybe I am. At least I'm not a nasty trans or a fag." Alex said

"So what if I am! What do you have against it!?" I asked

"Everything. It's disgusting." He said spitting on me

I pulled my fist back and went to jump at him when I was pinned by Forest.

"Let me go!" I yelled wiggling around

"No, you need to calm down." Forest told me

"Let me go! Get off me!" I yelled

"Jace, look at me." Joey said

I looked at him and stopped squirming as much.

"He's trying to make you mad. But just look at this puppy. Isn't he cute?" Joey asked

"Yeah. He is adorable." I said as Forest let go so I could hold the puppy

I took the puppy from Joey's arms and pet him closely.

"How did you do that?" Forest asked

"Just experience." Joey laughed

"He's so cute." I smiled

"Wow. You need to teach me." Matt said

"Well, the hopes are that once we have Chance trained, Chance can do that for him. But it'll take a little. He's already partially trained but we have to train him to fit Jace's needs." Joey explained to Matt

"So Jace is retarded." Alex said

"Alright, that's enough!" Matt yelled as everyone walked back. "I am so tired of your ignorance! Either smarted the fuck up, or move the fuck out!"

"Fuck you." Alex said as he stormed off

"Guess you're moving out." Matt yelled

"What did we miss?" Mark asked

"A lot." Forest said

"Look Sean, Chance!" I said holding up Chance

"IS THAT THAT SIRVACE DOG!?" Mark asked sitting down to pet the dog

"Yeah." Joey laughed

"He's soooo cuuttte!" Mark said

"Markimoo, isn't he amazing? I can't wait till we get to bring him home!" I said excited

Chance is adorable. The next week could be a long week but I'll be helping to train Chance. At least the whole time in here the hospital has agreed to let Forest stay since he's proved to help keep me calm. Mark and Sean said they'd come visit every day.

"Five minutes." The nurse said

"Thanks." Joey thanked her

"Well baby boy, I guess it's time to go." Sean told me

"Okay." I sighed

"I love you." Mark said

"I love you too Dad. Love you pa." I said

"I love you too buddy. We'll see you tomorrow." Sean said smiling

I hugged Liam, Dillon, Zach, Eilyn, Quintin, Callum, Matt, Sean, and Mark before they left. Then Forest and I spent the rest of the day playing with Chance and spending time with each other. I can't help but love him. He's so supportive no matter how bad I fuck up. I swear he's the most amazing man I could possibly get.
