Your POV

We stood outside the tall building where WCKD took place, we made it finally made it and now we can end this.

"Ok gang so we're here, before we do this I just want to thank all of you for sticking by me, Newt, Fry, (y/n) and of course Minho from the very beginning in the Maze and our new friends Aris, Brenda, Jorge we couldn't have got through the scorch without you, now let's save our friends and end this also keep your eyes peeled for the cure if there is one" Thomas said

I smiled at him and we made our way inside, considering circumstances, Newt was ok, a bit pale and looked a little ill, his brain seemed fine so far and I was making sure I act like every moment with him is my last.

"(y/n)?" Newt said suddenly

I looked at him and stopped "yeah?"

"I just want to say if I forget all about you or say horrible things I'm sorry, just remember I love you endlessly" he said

I took his hand "I know Newt, I love you too"

He smiled weakly and we both continued

"Ok what do we do now?" Brenda asked

"You and (y/n) go look for well you know what" Thomas said

I widened my eyes "I'm not leaving Newt"

Thomas looked at me sadly but pleadingly as well "please (y/n)"

"No way, I'll leave when he takes his last breath" I said stubbornly

Thomas looked at Newt for help "don't look at him, he don't get a say in this" I snapped

"Love go on, Brenda needs you" he said

"No you need me more" I shot back

"I'll see you when you come back just go" he said

I felt tears well up in my eyes "I can't what if your not there?"

"I will be I promise just go" he said gently

I took a deep breath and looked at Brenda "fine, but you make sure he's alive when we get back" I said to Thomas

"I will now both of you go" Thomas said and we both ran off

"What are we looking for?" I asked her as we ran

"You'll see" she said

After about 5 minutes, we reached a door that Brenda opened slowly, we walked inside and saw someone.

Teresa.

She spun around at the noise and looked at me "(y/n)?" She asked

I looked at Brenda "I don't want to see her"

"Give her a chance" she whispered

"What are you both doing here?" Teresa asked

"We're all here to save everyone but we're seeing you for a different reason" Brenda said

We walked over to her and she looked confused
"Why do you need me?" She asked

"We need the cure" Brenda said

"We don't have it yet" Teresa said

"I don't know if you know but her life is on the line here" Brenda said nodding to me
