Thomas - Saving Lives pt.2 *unedited*

It's been a month since Thomas asked me on a date and I can confirm it was an amazing night i hadn't been that relaxed or laugh so much

Since then we continued to meet and had grown really close and today was my birthday, he had already told me that he was picking me up at 12 and he had the afternoon and evening planned out and I was very excited

I woke up this morning with a text message from him and it made me smile

Happy birthday love, see you at 12 xxx

I decided to get ready as I only had an hour

The hour flew by which when you're trying to get ready it's a girls worst nightmare I finished just before 12 and then there was a knock on my door

I went over and opened it to be greeted with a huge bunch of flowers and some balloons and a smiling Thomas

"Thomas!!! You didn't need to do all this" I smiled and let him in

"What are you talking about? This is nothing compared to what I have planned" he grinned putting it all down and giving me a hug

"Happy birthday, you look lovely" he said

"Thank you, you don't look too had yourself" I smiled putting the flowers in some water

"Are you ready to go?" He asked once I'd finished

"Um" I said looking for where I put my phone and eventually saw it on one of the table's "I am now yes" I replied grabbing it and heading over to the door

We left and he helped down stairs, true gentleman style, and he drove to a field covered in bright flowers and small cherry trees where there was a blanket and some lights dangling from the tree

I got out the car and gasped and he chuckled at my reaction

"This might just be the most beautiful thing I've ever seen" I said walking over to the otherwise of the car and faced the field

He shrugged "id say this is a very close second for me" he said looking directly at me

We went over and sat down, we ate some lunch that he made and talked and laughed about pretty much everything. He truly made me feel at home, it was weird but he did

"You know you really didn't need to do all this i would have been happy to just spend the day at home or something" i said

"(y/n) you literally saved my life and ever since has made it brighter, theres nothing in this world i could do to show you how much i'm thankful for you so you deserve to be treated like this especially on your birthday" he said

"Well you're the first to ever say anything like that" i smiled

"Oh and just to make things better it's present time" he grinned

I smiled as he pulled some presents from behind him

I opened them up and got some necklaces, perfume, a ring, lots & lots of chocolate and then the last one which was big

I opened it and it was a photo frame of lots of picthres of us both over the past few months with one blank space waiting for a picture

"This is so sweet" i said smiling

"(y/n) you honestly mean so much to me" he started

"What are you saying" i asked looking at him

"Im saying i want us to be more than we currently are, it only hit me a few days ago that i was in love with you, i want to be there for every birthday, every happy moment that happens, be there to look after you when you get one of your illnesses and be the one you turn to when something terrible happens, you're the one i want to be with, no one else, so will you be my girlfriend?" He asked

I smiled as a few tears rolled down my cheek "yes i will"

He smiled and we shared our first kiss and he snapped a picture without me realising and from that day, that blank spot in the frame was filled, like my heart was for the rest of my life
