Your POV
After Gally told us his little plan that involved Teresa we were all discussing it, we were all up for it but Thomas wasn't too sure which caused some conflict and me and Fry just kinda let the rest deal with the problems.
"I just think it's too dangerous" Thomas said
"How?" Newt said suddenly
"I don't know I just don't want more people getting hurt" he said
"No you don't want her getting hurt" Newt shot back
"I didn't say that" Thomas said
"What's wrong with him?" Fry whispered to me
"I have no idea" I whispered back
"No but that's what you mean isn't it?" Newt asked
"No of course not" Thomas said
"You just don't want your little girlfriend getting hurt" he snapped
Thomas glanced at me as if to say 'help'
"No Newt"
Then Newt pushed him up against the wall and glared at him
"Don't lie to me! Just don't lie to me!" He yelled
Newt then suddenly let go "I'm sorry, I'm sorry" he mumbled and walked out
Gally looked at me "has he always been like this since after the maze?"
"No, I don't know what's going on with him" I replied
"I'll go see to him" Thomas said and walked out
I sat down on a box and sighed "maybe I should go out too"
"Leave them for a few minutes" Fry said
I waited a few minutes then went and stood by a wall near them so I could listen in
"There's still time, we'll get it" I heard Thomas say
Newt nodded "do you mind not telling (y/n) yet?"
"She does have a right to know" Thomas said
"Yeah I know, I just want to tell her when it starts getting worse, I don't want her worrying" he said
"Yeah ok" Thomas said
I went into another room and sat down, what was he going to tell me? It sounded bad and I can't be doing with more bad news
After a few minutes Newt came in and smiled when he saw me
"I've been looking for you" he said sitting next to me
I looked at him "just tell me"
"Tell you what?" He asked
"I heard the last part of yours and Thomas's conversation, so whatever it is that's wrong just tell me" I said
"I don't know if I can do it to you" he said
"The worst thing you could tell me is that you have the flare and that's impossible so tell me" I said
He looked away and then it clicked
"Please tell me that's not it" i pleaded
He looked back at me "I'm sorry but I wish I could"
