Carmen's POV:

I haven't spoken in days to anyone no matter who tries. Jack hasn't even attempted to apologize to Zach or I for bursting out. I've been planning on heading back to Pennsylvania because LA has nothing left for me.

I had been sleeping on the couch in the boys living room barely interacting with any of them. When I woke up each day I would sit on my phone ignoring everyone's pleas and wishes for me to say something.

Daniel stood up and walked over to me. He picked me up carrying me to his room so I couldn't fight back. To his surprise, I just laid there in his arms limp.

He set me down before closing his door and turning to me causing me to break down. I sat in the middle of his floor with tears steaming down my cheeks. He came and sat next to me grabbing my hand in his.

"I miss Jack..." I whispered.

It caught Daniel by surprise that I had spoken to him but he'd gained my trust. I took a deep breath, "I'm just surprised that he would lash out like that..."

"Carmen we all are, but we need you to talk to him and try to work things out." He sighed.

"I want to, trust me, but that doesn't mean he wants to."

"Carmen-"

"No Daniel. He threatened to send me home."

He nodded sadly and stood up before helping me up. He wrapped his arm around my back walking towards Jack door.

He reached up knocking on the door and Jack answered. Jacks eyes never met mine but I stepped inside anyways.

I sat on my mattress looking at him attempting to make him talk. We'd been sitting in silence for what felt like hours until I decided to speak.

"Jack we're going to work this out." I spat.

"Listen, i'm really sorry for lashing out. I thought better of you then to run off with Zach after only one day." He sighed.

"Jack you don't even know what happened that day!"

"Carmen you kiss him or he kissed you!" He paused, "What else is there to know?"

"Are you serious!"? I exclaimed angrily.

"I mean it's obvious you-" He started.

"We didn't kiss Jack!" I spat out, "He confessed his "love" for me and I didn't say anything back."

"See I can't-" He paused, "You didn't?"

"Nope." I shrugged.

He pulled me into a hug unexpectedly and I hugged him back. He whispered quietly into my ear, "I'm so sorry."

"You were just trying to protect me."I smiled.

He grabbed my phone from my hand and ran out of the room. I chased him almost falling down the stairs . I saw Zach standing on his phone and ran around him avoiding the awkwardness.

I caught up to Jack and jumped on his back almost knocking him over and laughed when he looked at me confused.

"Hello." I whispered.

"Here's your phone." He laughed.

I nodded ripping it from his hand and resting my head on his shoulder. He took a picture and posted it on his snapchat story with the caption, 'I've missed her.'

We decided to go live so I followed him and sat down next to him. We connected to the live and immediately limelights started joining.

We both answered questions and Jack talked about how tour was starting soon when all we could see in the comments was Jarmen.

I shook my head and laughed awkwardly turning to Jack, he laughed, "I guess you don't know who exactly this is."

"This is my sister Carmen!"

The fans mostly commented nice things but a few hate comments rolled by and I tried to ignore them as much as I could.

Zach muttered something under his breath and Jack's head shot towards him.

"Zachary I hear that." He spat.

Zach's face turned bright red and Jack ended the live. He grabbed my hand pulling me towards the couch where Zach was sitting.

"Jack." I paused looking at him, "Zach?" I asked before attempting to step back. They both grabbed my arms pulling me so I was sitting between them.

"Zachary Dean Herron." Jack started, "This is my sister on the line here." He spat.

"I understand and she makes me happy." He replied smiling.

"Guys, can I go?" I said standing again.

They pulled me back down and I secretly texted Daniel to save me. He ran down the stairs and up behind me before picking me up.

We ran back to his room and locked the door laughing. I sighed and sat down looking at him, "That was awkward."

"Well your brother and "boyfriend" were talking right in front of you." He emphasized the boyfriend part.

"Daniel we aren't dating." I sighed.

"YET!" He squealed.

I shook my head sadly before I heard knocking on the door. Jack opened the door excitedly and pulled me into the hallway with him.

He smiled pulling me into a hug, since I was shorter than him my legs were dangling off the ground and I laughed softly.

"Hi." He whispered in my ear.

"Hey can you put me down?" I laughed.

He laughed and I jumped out of his arms accidentally bumping into Zach.

"Zarmen?" Daniel asked.

I quickly shook my head and turned to Daniel asking, "Can we have a movie night?"

"I don't see why not." Corbyn shrugged.

I ran upstairs grabbing a blanket and plopped onto the couch next to Daniel He wrapped his arm around me protectively and I rested my head on his chest.

"Let's watch a horror movie." Daniel smirked at me.

My face grew red and I smacked his cheek. Throughout the movie I kept hiding my face in his shoulder. At the jump scares he would squeeze me even tighter.

I was resting my head on his chest with my eyes closed pretending to be sleeping by the end of the movie. The other boys went upstairs but Daniel stayed with me.

"Goodnight Carmen." He whispered brushing my hair behind my ear.

"Goodnight Dani..." I whispered making him blush.

"I thought you were asleep."

"I am shh." I whispered back.

I snuggled closer to his chest slowly drifting to sleep listening to his heartbeat.
