Carmen's POV:

I woke up with a migraine and a shooting pain in my back. I glanced up at the clock on the wall and saw that it was only 4 in the morning.

Looking down at Daniel who was peacefully sleeping I sighed knowing I couldn't wake him. I carefully slid out of his grip and stood up immediately falling forward. I caught myself with the counter and steadied myself regaining my focus.

After a minute or two I made my way to the door where the bunks where and opened it slowly. I noticed a light in the top bunk, I glanced up and saw that Zach was awake.

I didn't want to wake anyone else up but I didn't want to bother him so I shut the door and turned around.

As I made my way back towards the couch the shooting pain in my back grew and I collapsed to the ground. I curled up into a ball as the pain in my back seemed to temporarily paralyze me.

All I could hear was a ringing in my ear, my vision went from black to blurry and back to black.

I suddenly felt a pair of arms wrap around me and the warmth of someone next to me. The person put me down back on the couch as I felt tears streaming down my cheeks. I heard whispers but I couldn't make out what they were saying or who was talking.

I started regaining my vision until suddenly everything went black...

Zach's POV:

I woke up not being able to sleep and scrolled through twitter. I was shaken when I suddenly heard something hit the floor.

Carefully I climbed down from my bunk and opened the door noticing Carmen lying on the floor. I ran to her without thinking and lifted her before placing her back on the couch.

I shook Daniel awake and he looked at me annoyed until I whispered, "She collapsed ono the floor."

"What!?" He yelled.

"Shhh, I don't know what happened I woke up and found her on the floor."

Daniel reached down and felt her forehead causing her to flinch. He stood up next to me looking down at her sadly until we noticed her eyes flutter open the shut.

It was as if her body had given out, I paced frantically as Daniel tried to wake her up. I ran into the bunk area, "Guys get up Carmen isn't okay."

Jack jolted awake and stared at me noticing my worried expression before running out where Daniel was. Jonah followed behind him and Corbyn followed behind me. We crowded around her as Daniel made sure she was breathing okay.

I continued pacing as Jack got on the phone with their mom and Jonah called management. I looked at Jonah who'd just hung up with management, "What'd they say?"

"They said we're almost where we need to be and there will be a medic at the venue." He shrugged.

Carmen's POV:

I snapped back to my senses and saw Daniel and Corbyn next to me. I felt the pain in my back again feeling like I couldn't move.

"Are you alright?" Daniel asked concerned.

The other boys heads shot towards me as they crouched down beside me.

"I can see clearly so that's good." I paused, "but I have a shooting pain in my back and I feel like I can't move." I whispered.

A few tears strayed from my eyes and ran down my face as the boys looked at each other. I flinched in pain when I realized that the bus had stopped.

Jack and Jonah ran towards the door asking security to go find the medic again.

"I'm sorry for waking you guys this early." I sighed.

"Carmen don't be sorry your health is the most important thing right now." Daniel said while brushing my hair behind my ear.

The medic walked to the door so Daniel stood up to explain while I looked at Zach who glanced sadly at me. Daniel said we should go inside the venue and was about to come pick me up when Zach scooped me up.

I felt safe in his arms as he walked me carefully following the boys. I sat down in the green room as the medic came and sat next to me. She ran tests on me again while Zach sat on the other side of me holding my hand.

"Carmen..." Zach replied worried.

"Hmm?" I mumbled.

I saw that his hand was shaking as he lifted the phone so I could see. I zoned out staring at the picture, Maya had posted a picture to Instagram of her and Liam kissing.

I shook out of the trance and rested my head on Zach's shoulder not saying a word. My eyes glazed over and Zach squeezed my hand tighter.

The medic came back and talked to Jack about what was going on before he thanked her and turned to me. I sat up still holding Zach's hand tightly, "What'd she say?" (This is gonna be some made up thing btw.)

"She said she can't exactly tell what is happening. She thinks you could be having a sort of "trance" like thing. So you suddenly fall into these spells of dizziness and weakness." He said sadly.

"Am I okay?" I whispered.

"She said you should be and she'll run to the store to get some medication for you." He sighed.

I nodded and clenched my eyes shut before lifting my weak body up. I helped Zach up and pulled him into a tight hug.

He was shocked at first but hugged me back as I whispered, "Thank you..."

I realized from his grip and followed where Jack had walked off to. I noticed him talking with Daniel so I walked over with a weak smile on my face.

"How are you feeling?" Daniel asked.

"Better." I smiled again.

"Are you still coming to the show tonight?" Jack asked.

"If i'm still feeling good I'll go to the meet and greet but I'll stay backstage watching on the TV for the show." I shrugged.

Daniel patted my back slightly and I walked away slowly. I sat down on one of the small couches and pulled out my phone. (WARNING: STRONG LANGUAGE AHEAD!!!)

I called Liam's number and to my surprise he answered right away, 'Hey Liam."

"Hey bitch."

"Listen, I don't know who you think you are but what happened between Maya and you."

"Babe care to explain." Liam laughed as Maya's face popped onto the screen.

"Maya seriously-"

"Oh shut the hell up for once will you! No one wants to deal with all your shit." She spat cutting me off.

"We're over Liam." I said rolling my eyes.

I hung up in tears and threw my phone down next to me, Zach walked over and sat next to me wiping my eyes.

"Are you okay?" He sighed.

"I'm fine..." I mumbled and wiped my eyes.

"Carmen you can talk to me." He flashed a shy smile.

"I broke up with Liam."

"Good! He shouldn't have cheated on you! No one deserves that especially someone as beautiful, caring, sweet and-" He started before I cut him off by kissing him.

To my surprise he didn't pull away and kissed me back. I pulled away smiling slightly and I grabbed his hand interlacing our fingers.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to..." I whispered.

He kissed my forehead before standing up and walking away towards the dressing room where the other boys were.
