John's P.O.V.

"Wasn't it just easier to bring the instruments a day before the show?" I complained as we began doing our roadie job for free.

"Sure, and my parents wouldn't find that questionable" Said Ivan sarcastically.

"I get that"

"And these are not heavy, so don't be a princess, Lennon"

"I'm just saying we should hire someone to do this"

"Why don't you go inside and check how the party's going? Paul and I will get the instruments there in the meantime"

That offended me. Lazy and complaining princess are not the same thing.

"Okay" I agreed anyway.

I was going to get me a drink when I noticed a small cheering crowd. For what I saw, when do males enjoy public fights? When it's a female fight. I was just hoping it was not Christina; I could easily get into the crowd, and I found out it wasn't Christina, but worse, so much worse: those two girls from that fraud called date, and Shannon. I could recognize Anna's look; she was struggling to get her friend off Shannon, and nobody, NOBODY was willing to help her; instead, they were shouting "Go petite" over and over again.

"What's going on here?" Anna must have recognized my voice; I knew it by the way she turned to look at me.

"You've got to help me here, do we agree?" She put her pride aside, and I liked that. I didn't need to hear more; I grabbed Abby from the back, but she kept kicking; it was almost impossible to hold her still.

"Abby! Enough!" Scolded Anna. Abby's body started to loosen up a bit from my grip when Anna looked at her in the eyes as she spoke.

"You know I was being nice the whole time, don't you? She started it"

"No, you started it, and we're going home!" Anna grabbed her from the wrist and proceeded to leave, but I stopped them. Paul wanted a chance to fix the misunderstanding; now was the perfect time for him to apologize. He'll owe me another one after this.

"No. It's okay, stay. Shannon doesn't mind because whatever it was, she started, and she's sorry. Right Shannon?" I said; we all glanced over at Shannon still on the floor fixing her clothes; funny as fuck.

"Yeah...yeah...you can stay; it was my fault, and I'm sorry" She rubbed her elbow as she glared at me. Shannon was afraid of someone for the first time, or more like she just feared Abby's fists. Wait until I tell Paul about this; he'll love it.

"I've got your drinks," Christina didn't know what just happened, or was she lying? "What happened here? She noticed Shannon on the floor, and helped her stand up; we had forgotten to do that.

"Who did this to you?" She asked her brushing the dust off her clothes.

"I'm sorry, Shannon" Abby's apology didn't seem convincing, but that's not my business, sorry.

"I already said it was my fault. It's okay" She replied. Hmmm. This smells like a fight for later, but as long as it is after Paul's apology, it was fine. "Where the hell is Paul anyway?" Damn Shannon was pissed. I wasn't going to let it ruin the show, so we needed to continue with it.

"He and Ivan are going to be here with the instruments soon" I said.

"Abby, I don't think we should stay" Said Anna.

"Anna you listened to her; it's okay" Replied Abby.

I don't need to know Abby too well to realize she's some shameless shit.
