Anna's P.O.V.

"You're way prettier than I imagined" Said John as he stared at Laura's chest.

It was very awkward. John liked her; it was obvious, but he isn't careful with his body language.

We did what we had planned. I introduced them to each other, and they seemed to get along. It looked like love at first sight for Laura unfortunately.

"Thank you" Poor little girl was blushing.

"So how old are you?" He asked eagerly.

I was standing in the middle of them like an idiot. It took me almost ten minutes to realize they didn't need me there anymore.

"Eighteen"

"Awesome. So you want to grab something to eat later?"

I never thought he'd be this fast, but okay.

"I'd love to"

"Great. I'll wait for you right here after you're done with your last class"

So I guess that was officially a date...haa. Who knew. He had a crazy date with me a while ago, and now he'll date my new friend.

"Come on, Anna. We're late for class" Oh. So he still knows I exist?

"Sure"

"See you later, Laura" He winked at her as he helped me with my backpack again.

"Goodbye Laura" There was no reason for me to hate her.

"Goodbye, Anna. I'll wait for you John" She flirted. Even her flirting was attractive.

We walked quietly to class, and I felt the urge to fight with him again. Why??

"Why do you keep doing that?!"

"Huh?"

"Carrying my backpack for me. You think I can't do it myself? Do I look like I'm weak to you?"

"I was just trying to be a gentleman, and help you. You carry a lot of books here, Anna"

"Well yeah, thank you. I don't need your help. Give me that" I pulled my backpack from his back.

"That's funny" He chuckled.

"What's funny?"

"You dress different, you walk different, and you look different among any bunch of girls, but deep inside you're like any other girl. You're not the weirdo I thought you were. Besides I like the way you kiss"

Please take that back. Don't make it worse!

"Oh" I knew I had to stop there.

I didn't say anything else. I barely spoke to John the rest of the day. No matter what I'd say, he'd always use it against me.

I rode the bus by myself this time because I supposed Laura took another bus with John. It's a shame because I really needed some girl's company; which reminded me I haven't seen Abby in two days. I got off the bus two blocks before my stop. I wanted to stop by Abby's house to see how she was doing.

I knocked on her door, and it looked as though she had been spying on her window because she answered the door quickly.

"Anna!" A tiny tear fell down her cheek as she welcomed me with a hug.

She looked pale and thinner. She wasn't the crazy girl she was just a couple of months ago. Paul ruined her.

"I've missed you! School isn't the same without you"
