Going to that date was easy, attending to Ivan's party was easy, avoiding lunch with Shannon and her snakes was easy, but having to deal with people like this wasn't.

"This is ridiculous! Come back here, Anna. It's raining for fuck's sake!" I heard John shouting from his window.

I ignored him as I jumped off his fence. I think my backpack got ripped. He was right; hell it was raining. It's too late Anna. Where will your pride go? Keep walking, or speed up! I began running my way home without turning back, but I think it was a terrible idea; got more wet with that ain't we?

Finally, I got home. I rushed to get in the house as soon as I could so Robin wouldn't see me. I changed my soaked clothes quickly; I felt I could easily get sick if I didn't. I chose a pair of white velvet pajama pants because I was in the mood for white. I was ready to get in bed and do nothing because it was a rainy day. What else could I possibly do? Hang out with Abby? She disappeared after school, but I was feeling empty and bored, so I thought it'd be a good time to call her. I'd tell her what just happened with John because what difference will it make if I don't tell her? She'll find out anyway. She's not forgetting about this thing any soon. I called her twice, and her mother told me she wasn't home. She's always home if she isn't with me. That was weird. Was she cheating on me with another best friend? Hopefully it won't be with Shannon; that'd be enough. Of course I'm joking. I just hoped she wasn't getting in trouble... again! I felt asleep sooner than I usually used to without realizing I had failed to reach Abby on the phone that night.

The following days were pretty much the same; they were boring, but at least I was busy studying for my finals and with Abby disappearing after school, and Shannon and her friends wanting to hang out with us. As I've said, nothing has changed much. Yes, we had to hang out with Shannon and her friends during lunch breaks, but I only did it for Abby who seemed to get along a lot with them. I'm sure Shannon's afraid of her because I don't find any other explanation. Whatever. It turns out Christina doesn't come to this school, and that's great because the less slutty queens we have, the better. I haven't seen John since that day. Actually, I haven't seen any of his friends. I told Abby 'bout my little experience with John. She thought it was cute, but I won't discuss that.

The day of our graduation came. Abby begged me literally a whole day: Oh please, Anna. If you don't go, I won't go either. Do you want to ruin the best day of my life? Blackmail. I know. What she didn't know was that attending my own graduation was the biggest effort I had to make. I don't think anyone knows how hard it is for me to take that step in life the way it wasn't planned. I was supposed to be with him right now... I knew I was going to cry tonight. That was for damn sure.

"Would you stop moving? I'm trying to do your makeup as perfect as I can" Abby looked intimidating as fuck holding a tiny makeup brush pointing straight to my eye.

"Don't be very generous with that okay? I already look way too ridiculous with this dress just so you know" I would have loved to go to prom with my baggy jeans and oversized sweater, but Abby made one of those tantrums, and I ended up getting one of the dresses Robin wanted me to wear.

"Shut up. You look gorgeous with pastels"

"I hate them"

"Look, if you let me do your makeup, you'll be the prettiest young woman at the prom. You'll kick Shannon's big ass, and Christina's, and the other sheeps'"

"That's not the point, miss. I'm going only because YOU blackmailed me"

She started laughing because she knew I was right.

"Fine, close your eyes and let me do my job"

Even though I hated it, the result was beautiful; Abby was a good makeup artist for a 17-year-old.

"Come on. We can't be late to the most fun part of our graduation" Said Abby pulling me to her mum's car.

"You got your diploma, and that's what matters to-"

"Let's go!" She dragged inside the car excitedly. No, I still wouldn't want any other best friend but her.

I can't deny that at least a tiny tear ran down my cheek on our way to our prom. No matter what I do, or how hard I try; he will always come to my mind. He promised... and everything. Julian... I love you... I miss you.

As soon as we got there, I started acting like a Robot. I didn't even know what I told Shannon when she told me I looked stunning.

"You look good too, Abby" She said.

You don't have to be very smart to notice there was something behind's Shannon's game. They were supposedly 'Friends' now, and just the thought of it made me cringe.

"Thank you" Whatever it was, Abby was playing along.

The girls were dancing without taking a break as the night came down. I did; robot dancing was exhausting. I was sitting on a chair in one of the corners of the place when I saw Shannon and Abby approaching me.

"There she is" Said Shannon pointing to me as they got closer.

"Anna, what are you doing here? You're missing all the fun. Again!" Said Abby. "Graduates from other schools are coming here! Isn't that crazy?"

"Oh, and Paul is coming too by the way. Because John and Christina graduate today too, so Paul is with them. They should be here already" Said Shannon looking around the place.

"Really?!" Abby's eyes brightened when she heard the name Paul. I didn't like her reaction; it wasn't supposed to be like that because she's told me Paul wasn't an option anymore. Because he's not her target anymore. For obvious reasons, totally out of question. No, no, and no. Now it's worse because... SHE'S YOUR NEW FRIEND'S BOYFRIEND.

"What are we doing here? Aren't we going to dance or what?" John's voice again, AND AGAIN I didn't want to look up at him. I don't want to be friends with John.
