"Bren? Ila-ng ta-on ka-na?"

Bren's forehead crease. I laughed. Wow i'm learning.

"What are you learning for? Is your new job teaching foreign students?"

My body stiffened. I still didn't tell Bren about this. I can't tell it Franc too. I let out a sighed and put my books and notebook in the table near Franc's bed. He is sleeping.

"Bren I have something to tell you."

Brena look at me. She put her book that she was reading into the roundtable. It's weekend so we are staying here together. Brena is so nice.

"About my new work."

She nodded while looking at me. After doing my test and the IUI stuff I mean that's what the doctors said. I have to go to Korea. I... I have to leave Franc.

"My job is... You know being a mother."

I said. Brena look so confused. I mean come on I got confused too atfirst.

"A surrogacy mother."

Atfirst Brena was like 'okay? That's it?' But after that her eyes grew big.

"Whaaaat?"

Her voice was so loud that we have to look at Franc if he got awaken. Brena's eyebrows met before standing up and pulled me away from Franc.

"What surrogacy job thing is this? Are you joking? Oh my God you really joking right?"

I bit my lips before shaking my head. She suddenly slapped my shoulder. Ouch!

"You're crazy! There are other jobs out there why this kind of job? Omg did you got inside it now?!"

She touch my stomach.

"He-hey! It's still not there!"

She stop and look at me. I fixed my shirt.

"Then you resigned now. You can't do this."

We look at the door together when someone open it. I nod at the doctor before he came inside and check Franc.

"I can't resigned."

I whispered. Brena hold my shoulder.

"Come on Ran. You can't do this. How about Franc-"

"Apparently Brena. All the doctors that are helping Franc right now came from the company I work for. That's why I can't."

Her mouth was wide open and look at the doctor who is checking Franc. She look at me.

"So those professional doctors and expensive equipment are from them?"

I nodded slowly. She touched her head.

"I-i already signed the contract. There is no other way. This is for Franc too."

She stared at me silently.

"Are bought of you fighting?"

My eyes grew bigger when I heard Franc's voice. The doctor is looking at us too.

"No-noo..."

I said while shaking head. Franc's forehead crease. I smile at him and walk closer to his bed.

"Is it okay if your sister will be gone for just two days? I have something to do."

He smiled after I said those.

"Is it work? You're still not fired?"

I laughed of what he said. He like seeing me getting fired.

"Ofcourse. I'm doing great."

He raised his eyebrows. I crossed my arms and smile at him.

"So you won't missed me?"

"Ofcourse not."

He said. My mouth twitched. How cruel! I let out sighed and gave him a smile. You have to be strong while i'm gone.

"Relax Ran. Everything will be alright. Deep breath."

I did what Doctor Joe said. I was lying in the surgery bed. I look at the light inside the surgery room. I closed my eyes. This is it. There is no coming back. In the next day someone will live inside my body. A life of someone that will help my brother live.

"Did you feel anything?"

I shake my head. I don't feel any pregnancy symptoms at all. It's been a week after the transfer.

"Did we fail the transferring Trey?"

Doctor Joe look at Doctor Trey. He shake his head and look at me.

"I'm sure that we are successful about it Joe. Did you experience some kind of allergy? Sometimes the chemicals do create allergies."

Did I fail? I don't know. That gives me a sense of guilt. I just. I just failed a baby? Did i-did I-

"Joe. How about check her lining in the room now."

"Ok-wait."

Joe's phone ring. She take it and put it in her ear. She take a little distance from us.

"Huh? The baby? We are still checking it now. Did you tell your brother about this? What? You still what?! Hospital? So is he okay? What happened? Getting dizzy and vomiting? Did he eat-wait!"

Joe look at me with her strict eyes. What?! What did I do?

"Okay. I'll call you later."

Joe is still staring at me as if I did something. What did I do?!

"What happened?"

"Her brother was sent to the hospital for vomiting and dizziness."

"So? Did he eat something wro-wait."

Trey stopped talking and look at me. They are both looking at me with a curious look. Stop that! That scares me!

"I'm positive about this Trey."

"Me too."

They both smile while looking at me. What the hell is going on?

"Congratulation dear. You're flying to Korea."

What? Didn't I failed? I'm so confused.

"You're pregnant."

My eyes widen and my mouth is wide open. I am? Pregnant?

"But still. Let's check your lining to confirm it but i'm positive about this Trey. Dawon will be so happy about this."

"Yeah she's annoying."

Trey said. Okay just please i'm panicking. I'm pregnant!

"The problem is her brother still didn't know about this."

"Come on. He choose her. There's no point of worrying about that."

"No. What if he change his mind?"

They look at each other and stop talking for a minute. Can't they look at me for a second! I'm panicking! They both look at me together.

"Dawon will be so dead."

"The control freak will get sued for sure."

I don't know what you are talking about. Can we just please talk about inside of me!! Hey!! I'm pregnant with someone's baby! Oh my god and i'm flying to Korea!
