I massage the bridge of my nose while not looking at the people who are sitting in front of the table. I glared at Joe. She just shrugged and gave me a little smile. LIAR!

"Rannn na miss kitaa!!"

Dawun said and run to hug me. I look away when Hobi look at me. I awkwardly smile at Dawun.

"Jiwoo! Saan ka ba nanggaling?! Kanina pa kami nandito!"

Joe said. I'm surprised I can still understand them when I haven't heard about it for a year now.

"Joe naman! Ngayon ko lang nakita ulit ang Ran namin~"

Dawun said and look at me. She show me her smile. Just like before. I smile. I'm glad seeing you.

"Umupo ka na nga."

Joe said. Dawun sit beside me. Beside her is Hobi.

"Where did you go? I've been looking around."

I let out a sighed when my boss just talk. He was sitting beside me. Beside him is Trey and next Joe. We are sitting in front of the roundtable. Can someone save me!

"I-I went out to have some air."

I said while not looking. This is the most awkward atmosphere that I ever experienced and my boss? He ain't feeling it.

"Saan yung ibang bisita?"

Dawun asked. It seems like they are in good terms now or.. I look at Joe. She probably lie about the fight.

"Bukas pupunta sila dito. Yung parents ko at parents ni Trey. Bukas pa."

After Joe said those the food just arrive. There will be a lot of people I didn't know tomorrow. I look at my watch. I'll probably call Franc after the dinner.

"Ran? Ran!"

I blink twice while looking at Joe. Her mouth twitch.

"Why you didn't bring your brother?"

All eyes are on me. My eyes land to Hobi but he was looking at me so I look the other way.

"He-he is busy."

You know what makes me scared? What if Hobi will know about Von? I know he will get angry because I lied but I wasn't afraid of that. I'm afraid Hobi will take Von away from me. I heard Dawun laughed.

"Kagaya ka pa rin ng dati Ran. Masyadong tahimik."

I let out a little smile. My forehead crease when my boss just went closer at me.

"I'm not like my brother. Too lazy to study some languages but right now I regret not studying one."

I snorted. The only thing that isn't similar to me. Well I studied their language because I HAVE TO not because I WANTED TO. It's for work. I actually hated calling it work. I hate myself for using my Von. We both look at Hobi's direction when he coughed.

"Tubig oh~"

Dawun said and gave it to Hobi. Hobi just glared at her. Are they fighting? Dawun just laughed before looking at us.

"Uminom ka ng tubig para huminahon ka naman~"

Dawun laughed again. It looks like he was teasing him. Hobi's brows are meeting before he look at me. I look away. I can't look at him.

"Let's just eat."

Trey said. Both of us nodded before we start eating.

"Ran. How did you know my brother-ouch!"

I saw how Trey's face turned into smug. He look at Joe and Joe just make her eyes bigger. If Joe is with Trey, she shows more expressions. Well that means she is comfortable with Trey.

"He is my boss."

"He works with me."

I look to my boss and he looks at me too. We just talked at the same time. We both laughed after realizing it.

"Seems like both of you are close."

I grab a glass of water to drink. We are not close. He is bossy. Very bossy.

"Well Ran is quite very passionate in working. She is easy to work with. She is very active in doing her job."

"Nagtrabaho rin naman siya sa akin ah pero hindi siya nakikinig."

I got choke of my water because of what Hobi said. I grab a napkin to wipe my mouth.

"Excuse me?"

My boss said. Yeah! Excuse me! I listen to you all the time! Well sometimes! But I still listen!

"He said nothing Ethan."

Joe said. My boss just look at Hobi before shrugging. I saw Dawun how she pinched Hobi.

"Ano ba. Totoo naman aharay!"

Hobi said. I bit my lips. I glared at him. He just sarcastically smile at me. Is he testing me?

"Well atleast my new boss isn't as manipulative unlike the last one."

Well my boss is kinda manipulative.... a little. My boss look at me with a question. I just shrugged. I raise a brow at Hobi.

"Ang pagiging bossy ko ay para sa kapakanan mo. Kung masama yun ide masama na. Kung hindi ka lang clumsy hindi ako aarte ng ganun."

I know i'm clumsy! You don't have to tell me that! Joe fake a coughed. I look around. They are looking at us. I fake a coughed too before standing up.

"I'm sorry. I have to go first. I have to call my brother."

I look at Trey and Joe. They just nod at me. I look at Dawun but she is looking at Hobi while saying something to it. I was about to walk when my boss also stand up.

"Let me-"

"It's okay. You don't have to. Stay with your brother, boss."

I said before I start marching to the elevator's direction. I pushed the button and wait for it to open. I went inside and pushed the close button. I was surprise when someone just ran to get inside. My jaw just tightened when I saw Hobi standing beside me.

"What are you doing?"

"Matutulog na ako."

He lazily said without looking at me. He leaned to the wall while crossing his arms. He was looking to the ground while closing his eyes. He still look the same. I look away. I admit he is quite attractive wearing a white long sleeve polo. The two buttons are open and his sleeves are rolled up exposing those attractive viens and muscles. I gulped while crossing my arms.

"I hope you feel sorry for making me embarrassed in front of everyone."

I said while not looking at him. I'm still mad. When the elevator opened I gon out first. I marched to my room's direction. I was about to grab my key when someone just grab my hand before pinning me to the wall.

"Hobi."

I said almost a whisper. He was too close. His face is too close. What is he doing? I move to pushed him away but he pushed me to the wall. My breath turned rigged and my heart start raising. He was breathing heavily too. When I look at him. I feel like my knees gon weak because of his eyes. I gulped. The way he look at me is quite intimidating. I bit my lips before looking away.

"Ran. Hindi ako nagtiis ng isang taon para makita kang may ibang lalaki."

My eyes widen before I look at him. What are you talking about?!
