Getting out of the tube was easy. It seemed that Obito had used a jutsu that would help me retain my abilities of my sixteen year old self in the future while still being an eleven year old now. That being said, I had no interest to use my Mangekyō Sharingan anytime soon.

Mizuchi helped me create a sphere of water as a shield as I crashed out of the glass, before I got to my feet, slowly walking away from the shattered debris. It seemed that Orochimaru hadn't visited this place for a long time.

I managed to skip out of the place, avoiding the traps and trying not to look at the other experiments. I swallowed. Even if I had the abilities of a sixteen year old, my body was clearly younger and weaker. Mizuchi was also working to restore his own power. Thankfully, he was past the danger stage and was recovering quickly. He was strong, he would be good soon.

When I emerged from the lab, I was shivering in my damp clothes, the simple shift not blocking out the cold wind. "Shit, it's cold for you, isn't it?" Mizuchi asked in concern. Being a water dragon and a deity as well, he probably hadn't felt it.

  "I.I..It's fine, Mizu," I replied.

"Fine, my ass," Mizuchi scoffed, "You're plainly shivering. We have to stop somewhere or you'll catch a cold—and with my present state of being but mostly because your idiot dad used up my chakra, I can't keep you safe from things like that."

"I'm fine—" I said through gritted teeth, "I need to find the Akatsuki, mainly, Obito."

Mizuchi laughed, "Well that's easy enough, you practically grew up around those barbarians—-"

Third Person POV

*****
Tobi whirled around, his robe flailing around his form as he blatantly annoyed Orochimaru, who seemed less than thrilled at having him as a partner along with Sasori.

They had returned from a successful mission and destroying a village and whatnot, so it was fair to say they were in a good mood. When they walked into one of the many Akatsuki hideouts, all three immediately froze. Calmly and sitting on the floor was a little girl about ten or eleven years old. The first thing that popped out to them was the green hair before Orochimaru's mind clicked and his jaw nearly fell to the ground.

The failed Sharingan project. She was dormant so long that he abandoned all hopes, but here she was, sitting directly in front of them. Orochimaru's brow furrowed. But how? That water spirit he sealed inside her was supposed to kill her....

"What the hell is a kid doing in here?" Sasori rumbled in his low voice, his puppet exterior looking somewhat moody.

"The more important question is—" Orochimaru licked his lips, his eyes now on her with unsettling interest on her eyes, "How did she get past all of the traps?"

Tobi was strangely silent when he saw her, his one eye looking at her, studying the green hair and the obvious resemblance. He had seen Orochimaru's reaction.

The girl looked back at him, something like emotion filling her eyes. "I need to talk to you."

Obito studied her for a minute longer, not even bothering to use the Tobi facade as he walked towards her, and as the other two watched, he led her towards Pein's office.

One note about Rin Uchiha—I know Uchiha are supposed to have a strong affinity for fire, hence the fireball jutsu, but I wanted her to be deviant from the norm. Since she has Mizuchi inside of her, a water spirit, I thought it was only fair that her chakra affinity is water. In her sixteen year old years, I wanted her to have three chakra affinities: water, Lightning, and wind, but mostly water.
Since this is the early Akatsuki, I should think there is only Pein, Konan, Obito/Tobi, Sasori, Kakuzu, and Orochimaru, and Zetsu, and Kisame so far. Idk how yet, but I was thinking of adding Hidan and Diedara b/c they're fab (XD) and I don't think this story will be complete without them.
