Mizuchi whistled as I allowed myself to be pulled away by Obito, or as he called himself, Tobi. "Good—"he clapped his dragon paws/claws together, "now we can get to business with the memory seal!"

I tried to blink away tears as I saw Obito again, but he didn't seem to notice as he rapped upon the door. "Come in—" the low voice rumbled as I was ushered into the room, across from the feared leader of The Akatsuki. I shifted slightly. The man was still unnerving, even though I knew this was his Deva Path, not his real body of Nagato. The piercings on his ears and nose glinted in the light as he raised his Rinnegan eyes.

"What is this, Tobi?" He spoke the false alias, his eyes glancing over my form.

Inside of me, Mizuchi fumed, "Call me 'this' one more time, bitch, and I'll show you what the true meaning of getting your ass whooped is—"

"She's Orochimaru's experiment," Obito said in his normal timbre, before continuing, "she is my daughter."

I froze. Daughter. When I first met Obito, he called me anything but that. He just called me Rin, a tribute to his former lover, I supposed.

"Orochimaru's experiment?" The Deva Path folded his hands, looking at me with something akin to interest, "but pray tell, how is she your daughter?"

   "That is none of your—"

"I was a clone—" I blurted, the words coming out of my mouth as I looked down, away from Obito, "—sir." I blinked hard, consciously twisting my long green hair, an after product of the experimentation, and probably after Mizuchi was sealed inside of me.

I felt the intensity of the Rinnegan eyes upon me. "How did you get into the base?"

"I am from the future—I,..I mean—" I swallowed thickly, stepping forwards, "I have a Memory Seal implanted.....implanted within my mind. It should tell you everything.."

Both Obito and Pein turned calculating stares towards me. Then, after a long moment, Pein spoke, "I can see a powerful spirit trapped within you, sealed away. What is it?"

Mizuchi growled, "Bitch, calling me it and this, let me show him, Rin—I'll go rub that nonexistent smirk off his face—"

"His name is Mizuchi," I said, "don't worry...he's...he's a friendly—-he's my friend—" I couldn't remember when I last shook so hard, but the memories of the war were coming back again.

"Your friend?" Obito asked, turning to me, his eye narrowed, "did Orochimaru make you a jinchurriki?" A menacing aura spread through the office, as I shook my head, but Mizuchi seemed to have enough of it.

Frustrated at my own inability to explain, I allowed him to take control.

I saw my eyes reflected in the glass, turning an aquatic shade of blue and green as chakra spiked in the office. Both Pein and Obito seemed to understand that it was Mizuchi talking as he flipped my green hair with much attitude and began to speak. "First off, I'm no common place jinchurriki," Mizuchi sassed, "I'm a dragon, not some fuzzy cute little tailed chakra ball. Secondly, Orochimaru first sealed me within darling little Rin Uchiha—-" Obito flinched slightly, "in order to kill her should she awaken her Sharingan, without him taking it. Thankfully, father dude Obito...I mean, sorry, Tobi, was it?—managed to stop me and I became best pals with Rin."

"Orochimaru tried to kill her?!" Obito's voice rose, his eye flashing, but Mizuchi made me hold up my hand.

"Calm your tits, you bright orange lollipop. Oro-pedo only accepted your DNA and merged it with Rin to get the Sharingan for himself. Anyways, as I was saying—" Mizuchi's aura suddenly ticked to seriousness as he said coldly, "Now, I know that both of you went through a fair load of shit and that you are planning to take all of the Tailed Beasts. Rin is from the future, and because of your idiotic shitty actions, you made this precious child's life a hell hole. Not only that, you made everyone's life a hell hole. The memory seal she is carrying, you—" he made me point to Obito, "implanted it within her before you died. She always had that grief within her heart because she wanted a real family, and thanks to you shitheads, this child is now heartbroken that everything is gone—I should know, I felt all the same things she did. So, as for you—" he pointed with the other finger, "you made her your child and have the audacity to call her your daughter, think again, think hard this time, and wonder what Rin would have wanted, both this and the previous. If you have the balls to be called her father, then suck up to it, man, and cut the shit out!"

Mizuchi breathed heavily from his speech, looking at both hatefully, his chakra reaching superhuman levels. The two were silent, stunned into silence. "Okay—" he continued coldly, "now I am going to allow little Rin to take control, and you two assholes have fun watching her Memory Seal, capisce?" I was zoned back to reality, as I saw both adults, silent.

Obito spoke first, regarding me with some emotion I could not read, "Rin—" he placed a hand on my shoulder, "let's take a look at your Memory Seal."

*****

I remember tears trickling down my face as I saw all of my memories again, this time, the two adults watching with me, as if it was some kind of movie. At some points, Obito's grip on my hand tightened and Pein was just silent, unmoving. Perhaps that was also because he was the corpse of Yahiko. Mizuchi just kept muttering, "Assholes," underneath his breath. Now that I saw my whole life pan in front of me, I wanted to go and crawl into some deep hole and just lie there. Was that really how much I've been through?

Obito has not failed to include his own little interlude. He spoke about what had caused the war and how the Akatsuki, once made for peace, was reduced to this. He advised his former self, told him about what had truly happened to Rin, and overall, he spoke of all of the deaths as we saw the chaos and destruction. Lastly, he spoke about Itachi Uchiha and the Massacre, directing it towards Obito. At the end of it, I exhaled sharply as I was forced to sit down.

Obito and Pein were deathly quiet. Then, I saw Obito take off his orange mask, allowing me to see his face again. I saw how much my own memories and his future self had impacted him as I saw tears on the side of his face. "Rin—" he inhaled sharply, his fists clenched in pure emotion, "I'm...I'm sorry—-I'm sorry you had to go through all of that."

"As am I," Pein said, not missing the part where he gave his life to save the dead in Konoha, "it is clear that our mistakes, our stupidity, has led us to all of this carnage."

"It's..It's—-" I tried to speak, but my throat tightened, "it's ok." I flinched at my own choice of words, but I continued, "what I mean, is that it is the future, but right now, we can still change things. We can stop the assault, we can stop the war, and we can even stop the massacre. We can make the Akatsuki into what Yahiko dreamt it would be—an organization for peace, it's the only true way we can preserve his memory. I know it might sound naive, but in this current world," I flinched again as I remembered the deaths, "—I think it's truly the only good thing we can do."

Pein regarded me with his Rinnegan. "The only good thing?" He echoed.

I nodded, before turning back to the crying Obito. "Otōsan—" I said the word slowly, turning to hold his hand, "don't cry—Rinmother, wouldn't want that."

Obito looked at me, almost like a lost and wounded dog, not knowing what to do. But slowly, he gripped my hand, eye welling as he blinked back the tears. "Alright—" He said, and I saw a ghost of a smile on his face, "alright, Rin, what is it that you want us to do?"

Btw, Mizuchi is actually a dragon in Japanese folklore, just in case you were confused. He's also known as a water deity. Of course, I'm pretty sure he doesn't talk like this, but, I guess that's my own twist on it—XD
