The Akatsuki were gone the very next day after having bid Rin goodbye and giving various threatening gestures towards Shisui. Hidan's threatening gesture involved the rigorous use of his middle fingers, but Shisui was smart enough not to question him. It was evident that they wanted to stay longer, but Pein was quite literally a pain in the ass and wanted them to follow through with their missions.

Rin noticed Sasori's eyes on her, a warning gesture as Rin nodded slightly.

Once they left the village, life seemed to slowly return to normal. Sasuke had been working on Chidori and was thinking of various ways to manipulate it, Naruto was working on getting the bigger Rasengan, and Sakura was quite literally given hell from Tsunade training.

After that near death incident with Orochimaru, Rin had been given a taste of Tsunade's training regime as well. Tsunade was convinced that she relied too much on Sharingan for a half blooded Uchiha and as a result, she had to dodge about a thousand projectiles along with random boulders that were thrown towards her direction—all without the use of her dojutsu. Rin had to work to pool her chakra into dams again, using her last one to branch out into another one while maintaining steady chakra control. Mizuchi was often exhausted as a byproduct and he would often mutter curses underneath his breath.

  But if there was one thing Rin was good at, it was not giving up.

  Things were indeed going smoothly. However, while Rin was training her genin, she saw a familiar bird soaring above the sky. A summoning.

  Rin excused herself from her genin before shunshinning away and arrived at the Hokage's office. "Hai, shishou?" She asked as she saw the blonde Senju folding her hands, those honey brown eyes narrowed in thought.

"The prisoners at the maximum security prison have escaped—I have sent Kurenai and Asuma up ahead but they haven't been responsive. After them, I sent Shizune's team and I have only received a message from Tonton that they were captured by a certain prisoner, Mizuki—" she tossed the file to her as the green haired jonin read the file, "he's the one who tried to steal the Scroll of Sealing. Naruto had stopped him last time."

"Orochimaru seems to be playing a game beyond his own grave," Tsunade murmured, "at some point, Mizuki and Orochimaru have been corresponding with each other. Ever since the attack, our numbers have run low along with us trying to catch as many inmates as we can. Rin, I'm counting on you."

  "Hai," Rin bowed her head as she shunshinned out.

  Forming several hand seals, Rin slammed her hand on the ground. "Summoning no jutsu!"

  A puff of smoke and a salamander appeared. Its name was Fuji and it bowed low before her, probably because of Mizuchi, who was sealed inside of her. "Let me take over for a moment," Mizuchi told Rin and the green haired girl allowed the dragon to seize control of her body.

   The girl's eyes turned a deep green as the salamander pressed its head even closer to the ground in respect. Mizuchi was a water deity and as amphibians who more or less lived next to water, they were underneath his command. Additionally, salamanders had great eyesight as well as a highly developed sense of smell, which made them ideal for tracking. "I want you to contact the others in your network and look for abnormal chakra signatures. You should look for a blue haired man who looks like someone who is stupid enough to follow that snake fucker, Orochimaru. Tell the others and report back to me as soon as possible. Understood?"

  "Yes, Mizuchi-Sama," The salamander said and scampered off in the other direction.

  The forest was filled with salamanders, who lived underneath rocks and pretty much everywhere in the shady and moist forest floor. A few minutes later, the salamander returned.
