Brace yourselves.....

Tsunade aimed a series of punches before delivering a devastating drop kick to the earth. Orochimaru was steadily dodging all of them, a leer painted on his face. "You're getting rusty from lack of practice, Tsunade-hime."
"Fuck you, snake bastard!" She snarled as she opened up a new fissure within the rocks as Orochimaru's tongue flickered.
"Our sensei is too busy fighting his beloved teachers," Orochimaru laughed, "and the barrier is near impossible to break."
Tsunade snarled before she surged chakra to her fist, prepared to knock his head off his shoulders but not before Orochimaru's hand deftly spun a kunai and in one motion, he plunged it into his own hand. Blood spurted like cheap red paint as Tsunade's eyes widened, seeing the scarlet liquid slosh onto the ground. Her fist stopped in midair before she gasped, falling to her knees, unable to breathe.
Dan, Nawaki....
Blood coating her hands....
She was transported back to the battlefield. Dan was dying, bleeding on the ground as her eyes burned with furious tears. "No, Dan—don't close your eyes, dammit!" She cried, "you said you wanted to be Hokage...."
"Tsunade...I can't die, I have so many things I still have to do—" Dan's voice was weak, frail, sounding so much like Nawaki.
"Nee-chan, I'm going to be Hokage!" The boy's bright eyes gleaming.
"You're going to be okay, Dan, you hear me!" Tsunade could hear a ringing in her ears, "you're going to live!"
"That...that is good—" Dan rasped, a slight smile touching his pained face, "I trust you, Tsunade."
His heart stopped. There was no pulse.
"Dan!" Tsunade screamed.
No answer.
No pulse.
"Dan!"
Tsunade had to be dragged back as she saw her hands coated in his blood, her hands shaking, terming uncontrollably.
"I trust you, Tsunade."
She couldn't save him.
And now, she couldn't even save herself.
"Die—" Orochimaru held up his kunai, the end glinting before he prepared to plunge it into her neck.
The kunai whistled downwards...
A sharp screech of metal as another kunai intercepted it. Bright green hair flashed in front of Tsunade's crumbling vision and bright red vermillion. Eyebrows knit in fury and eyes boiling with anger before a surge of chakra threw Orochimaru backwards, sending him flying into the side of the arena.
"Get the hell away from my shishou!" Rin snarled, anger radiating in every cell of her body as she landed in front of Tsunade. Tsunade could barely register what was happening as her body continued to shake against her will as the images of the war replayed through her head over and over again. She was barely aware of someone holding her elbow and dragging her backwards, turning to see Shizune who was taking her away from the battlefield.
"R-Rin....." Tsunade murmured, trying to regain her senses but her vision swam dizzyingly as she saw blood coating her hands, "I-I need to help—"
Shizune looked up at the green haired jonin who held the kunai in front of her as Orochimaru staggered to his feet. "Shizune, don't worry about me, go take Tsunade sama as far as you can away from the fight and wait for the others to bring down the barrier."
