Side note:  Kouji and the reader go to different schools (they're two years apart).

Three days.  Three days of nonstop, straight up, scamming people at school was what (Name) did.  He was of course smart enough to let others be the face of his dirty scheme, so he wouldn't have to deal with the issues that came along with the type of business he was running.

It was simple; people, kids and adults, have gambling problems.  Just supply students and faculty a way to exploit the system, with a "low" risk of being caught, and they'll chase after it like a mad dog.  All (Name) did was provide that opportunity through a series of indirectly blackmailing teachers not willing to go along, and having areas of the school set up with "regulated" gambling stations.
Fixed games for the house in empty classrooms, hustlers to build up confidence, and blackmail all for a meaningless bet with his friend.  He didn't feel bad.  After all he had no doubt Kouji was using the same means.

Of course he was wrong.  On the day it all came down to it Kouji showed up with absolutely no money at all.

"What do you mean you didn't do anything!"

"I mean I made a bet with you to keep you focused on something else.  It's not like I take gambles when I don't know that the odds are in my favor," Kouji stated calmly.

(Name) looked almost ready to pop a gasket in his young body.  After letting out several frustrated sounds and stomping about in a sort of tantrum, (Name) huffed putting his head in his hands.
"I can't believe you, but then again you are that annoying, and  evil".

Kouji looked flattered before a look offense took it over.  "Who are you calling annoying.  You're the one who had to be distracted just to leave me alone, so that I could eat".

(Name) looked away from his friend's direction.  "Whatever, stupid".

"Ha see you agree.  I win this time, like usual because I'm so great" Kouji gloated.

"Yeah, yeah.  Let's go to your place so I can eat my annoyance away. Okay?" (Name) said already walking off in the direction of his friends soon to be out of food home.
