You were wrapped up in blankets enjoying the safe haven of warmth it gave you from the outside. The pressure being put on your sides by large arms added to the comfortable feeling. You wanted to stay like that forever it was so nice. With the slight hum of your boyfriend you dozed with your face pressed into his chest. The lifting and sinking of his chest made it all the easier.
In your light sleep you snuggled into Vasco who was lied down beside you. He began to pet and rub your head soothingly. His fingers moved in a calming sort of circular motion. The motion was relaxing, and you couldn't help but to gently move your arms to hug the man more firmly than you had been before. Despite your (eye color) eyes still being closed you knew he was looking down at you, and that he knew you were awake. The quiet grunt he let out told you such a simple thing.
Finally letting your eyes lift open, you gazed into the soft, yet richly dark eyes he had of his own. He held a peaceful expression very similar to yours. A small, lazy smile crossed your face upon seeing it. The streams of sunlight illuminating the space behind him gave the world a serene glow. It couldn't have been a better morning.
