(Name) felt weird. Not once in his (age) years of living had he felt the way he did now. His heart was a flutter and he couldn't keep blood from rushing to his cheeks. It was the most uncomfortable the architecture student had ever felt with himself. His embarrassment only added to the heat in his cheeks.
At some point it had gotten, so bad the person he was conversing with had noticed. She was the very reason for his entire predicament, although neither of them thought of that. She was (Name)'s fellow architecture department student, Leonn Lee.
"(Name) are you okay? You're face is getting redder".
His face getting worse, (Name), clutched the ends of his long sleeved shirt. He nodded that he was fine quickly to get rid of the subject. It wasn't working so he had to think quick. "Thanks for caring".
With those words (Name) set off an explosion he couldn't control. Leonn flipped and kicked him in the shins talking about how she was just-asking and how she wasn't-caring-for-him. He smiled through the aching since he was glad the attention was off of him. He continued to watch Leonn as she carried on and worked herself up more.
(Name) thought Leonn's reaction was one of the cutest she'd had around him. They didn't talk often. Beyond today they hadn't even had a conversation outside of school. The conversations they did have were enough to make (Name) fall head first into a crush though.
(Name) saw it as his chance, and didn't want to miss it. He cleared his throat. "Umm... Leonn. I wanted to know if you would possibly want to go out with me?"
She stopped and looked straight at him. (Name) was getting worried he might get kicked again, but thankfully Leonn's face erupted in an embarrassed red blush instead of fury. He watched as her stutters made her face darken another shade of red as she tried to deliver her response.
(Name) felt a smile creep onto his face since he could tell through the stuttering that her answer was a "yes". He interrupted the rambling by slipping his hand into hers. The action caused his own face to flush lightly and slightly look away as he pulled her towards a nice café he knew. "I hope you don't mind having something to eat with me. I think you'll like the place I have in mind".
