It was a normal day of classes a Jae Won High School. (Name) sat in the back of class listening to the fashion teacher while tapping her fingers on the desk. At some point she stopped listening and started daydreaming. It was a habit she found herself doing regularly although it was accidentally.

(Name) stayed in her head dreaming until class was over. She mostly thought of Valentines Day being the next day. It was only once she noticed her classmates getting up to go to lunch that she began to get her stuff off her desk and into her bag. While looking down to put her stuff away the (hair type; blonde, brunette, etc.) noticed someone stood in front of her desk. She looked up to see that the person waiting for her to notice them was Zack Lee.

(Name) knew Zack a little bit better than most people, but only because of their mutual friend Mira. Even with Mira bringing the two on "dates" they still weren't close. She wondered what he could want to talk about.

Before she had a chance to ask Zack spoke. "Hey, I know we hang out sometimes, but I don't like you that way. Okay?"

(Name) tilted her head to the side. She was so confused as to what Zack was talking about that all she could do was make incoherent noises.

Zack sighed "Look I know you were staring at me all throughout class. I like Mira though, not you".

Everything clicked in her head. (Name) didn't know wether to feel embarrassed or annoyed, so her face stayed a blank canvas. She tried to explain "Oh, Zack sorry I was starring, and it's fine. I don't like you that way either. I was just daydreaming and-and must of unconsciously looked towards your desk". It didn't look like Zack believed her, but let it be and walked away.

Once Zack was gone (Name) felt her face heat up. She couldn't believe she stared down Zack so hard he actually thought she had a crush on him, and even more so that he didn't believe her when she told him the truth. It was so frustrating. If anything (Name) had locked her (eye color) eyes onto Mira. She's the one that made (Name)'s heart flutter not Zack! Zack was more of a rival than a love interest. The boy was crazy.

(Name) had to let all that annoyance go though, and made her way to lunch. She made her way to sit at a table with Mira and some other girls. She refused to sit with Zack since he had become a bully in middle school. (Name) didn't mind that though especially after the events that transpired only a few minutes before. She was finally able to relax again while having a calm lunch with her friends.

      Breathing in deeply (Name) tried to relax herself.  It was Valentines Day and she wanted to ask Mira to be her Valentine.  (Name) also wanted her to know it wasn't the friendship kind of gift, but that she wanted to go out with her.

     Walking into class (Name) was happy to see nobody there.  She quickly went in and left the stuffed bear and flowers on Mira's desk before leaving.  Everything would work out alright so long as Zack didn't get there until after Mira did.  If he was he would no doubt sabotage her plan.  Luck was on (Name)'s side though and Zack was even late to class.

     Mira had gotten in and seen the gifts.  She read the card on the bear.  She looked surprised.  (Name) walked in and the class started which cancelled any plans Mira might of had to talk with her.  The interruption was all apart of (Name)'s plan though.  She wanted to see if there were any negative reactions before having to face her friend.

     The only negative reaction came from Zack when he came in and saw.  He didn't know or care who they were from, but he raged.  It didn't escalate too much thanks to the class being dismissed to lunch.  He tried to keep close to Mira while Mira tried to keep up with (Name).  Mira eventually slipped away from the boy seeing the (hair type) dip into the girls' bathroom.

(Name) spin around to face her beautiful, brown haired, friend and prepared for the worst. "So," she lingered "you read my note, so do you... ya know... want to try? Going out I mean?" (Name) felt dread build up as she waited for a reply.

While concentrating on herself (Name) didn't notice the reaction Mira had to being asked out so straightforwardly. Her cheeks were pink and her eyes were just a bit to wide for being normal. (Name) had almost missed her answer completely, and it was the one she definitely didn't want to miss. It was only towards the end of her answer that (Name) put together that she had agreed to going out with her.

All her doubt immediately faded into relief and happiness. (Name) flashed a bright smile at Mira. "I'm- I'm really glad to hear that!"

Mira grabbed (Name)'s (skin texture) hand and tugged her towards the door. "Come on, or we'll miss lunch all together".

The two left the bathroom hand and hand. A few people glanced towards them, but no one made a move until they got to Zack. Zack's eyes nearly budged out of his head. (Name) smirked at him and mouthed an I-told-you-I-didn't-like-you. He stood there with his jaw slackened. (Name) smiled. Zack just let out a groan, and followed behind the two.
