Being new to a country didn't help (Name) with being confident in going to an equally new school. They felt nervous and wanted people to like them, and be able to overlook their shaky Korean speaking skills. It was really nerve racking for them.
Walking into school for their first day left (Name) feeling like they would fall to their knees at any moment. They found themselves overwhelmed by the copious amount of people who went to their new school. They had always tried to keep a low profile in their old school, but here it seemed like that would be impossible, and it was all because of one person.
He was a guy named Vin Jin, and he walked with a loud arrogance that made him stick out.
When (Name) had first seen him they tried to move away, but their (eye color) eyes caught his and he went over to them. (Name) had felt the sweat rolling down their neck and the nerves shaking their body. Everything about him triggered their flight response. They could just see the awful future that awaited from interacting with a guy like him. Flashes of having to wait on him and his no doubt stupid friends, and getting harassed on the daily raced through their mind seeing him get closer and closer.
It was a surprise, though, when he got over. He had opened his mouth and asked "What you looking at hot stuff?". It made (Name)'s ears and face go red. They couldn't speak at such a bold outburst. "I got it, you're shy. It's no surprise you were starting at me. I am the best looking guy at Jae Won. I'm the most talented too. Come on with me,". He wrapped his arm around their shoulders and lead them away.
(Name) put up a mild protest, but since it was being ignored they gave up. They weren't getting out of it. Vin Jin made up his mind. Since they didn't try to fight him or run away the cutie was coming with him. They'd be a great addition to his posse. A potential date later too, but that could wait until they were comfortable. He smiled to himself thinking about it.
