Sorry it took a while.
Note: It's kind of short. I hope you don't mind.~•🌺•~
(Name) had been Jay's girlfriend for five years, and she loved him more than anything. His shy personality was what really made him great to her. She took every chance she had to exploit it too, as she made his face run red anywhere they went.
When she had first asked him out it was a little more nerve racking to talk to him, but still she managed to be bold. "Do I know you? 'Cause you look like my next boyfriend," was what she said her first time talking to him. His face blushed a shade of red (Name) hadn't been able to recreate since.
On their first date the teens went to an art museum. It was quiet and with few people around they were able to enjoy each other's company. As beautiful as everything was though (Name) got bored quickly and decided to make her own fun. "I know I'm at an art museum, but damn I didn't expect you to be such a work of art". Every date was like this. Almost any time Jay and (Name) would go out she'd try out new pick up lines on her boyfriend just to see his cute reaction.
Sometimes it wasn't necessarily done just for Jay though. On a few occasions (Name) used pick up lines to make her jealousy die down. Killing it with humor.
For instance, on one of their dates (Name) left Jay to go to the bathroom. When she returned he was being swarmed by girls. She marched over to him while trying to swallow her anger. Standing close to him she had everyone's attention when she asked "Did you get your license suspended or driving all these girls crazy?" As Jay nearly melted from the embarrassment, (Name)'s smirked. She then mouthed to the other girls "He's with me so step off".
Normally after the incidents (Name) would apologize and take Jay to do whatever he wanted. She didn't like her possessiveness and how it crept out of her. She didn't want Jay to feel like an object or feel trapped, so she always tried to rectify any of those feelings she thought might brew.
Luckily those feelings never did bubble up in Jay. He knew (Name) loved him and trusted him, so when she made the girls disperse he didn't see her in a bad light. He cared for her, pick up lines and all, just as much as she did him.
