Note: This is the final part. You're wearing a suit.

Okay not my favorite thing I've ever written, but I wanted to wrap this up so I can post a better chapter.

~•OBJECTION•~

(Name) was sweating yet again. Their (color) suit was clinging to them. The courtroom's air conditioning system had broken, and felt like it was one-hundred degrees outside. There wasn't a single person in the building who wasn't about to get heat stroke.

Despite the horrid conditions the case must go on. The murder of Johan Seong was on its second suspect.

After a week from the first trial another suspect was brought in. He was (Name)'s second client relating to this incident, or he would have been if (Name) hadn't thought him guilty.

Instead (Name)'s understudy was taking the case. (Name) was only there to help her. Zoe Park was a newly licensed law graduate.  (Name) didn't know how Zoe got them to agree to helping in the case, but she did.

Even though the case was Zoe's there was still a chance they would be mentioned in the news paper if the case flopped, but that wasn't a major concern to (Name).  They were a well established and trusted attorney. The media could try to pull what it wanted. They were sure they would come out of it fine.

Who they were really concerned about was Zoe.  She was just starting her career and a fall like this might be enough to end it.

Zoe wasn't worried.  She believed in her client Mr. Jong Gun. (Name) couldn't help but think that was stupid. The man was clearly a gangster. He may have been innocent concerning the murder of Johan Seong, but he had a minefield of baggage that could be brought up for the case. The court isn't always the best at staying on task. Sometimes past offenses or accusations can bring down a suspect.

"The court is now in session" the judge announced.  He went through the regular proceedings.  (Name) didn't bother paying attention until the testimony was going to be given.  Looking over to Zoe they could tell she was nervous but not averse to starting.

The prosecutor begins a barrage of accusations once Mr. Jong Gun takes the stand. The prosecutor attempts to bring up some shady deals Gun made in the past, but (Name) tells Zoe to object before he can answer. The prosecutor tries to cast doubt on the suspect by saying the defense wouldn't even let him answer an easy question. Zoe again objects to the prosecutor's slander.

All is going well for the defense and it seems like Zoe might win the case.  The thought relaxed (Name) some as they were ready to end this.  It had taken a lot of objections and helping Zoe to get through the case so far.  Nothing had slipped out that would shift the courts focus despite the prosecutions best efforts.

The case was almost over when the defendant opened up his big mouth and said something unheard of.  "Yeah, I know who killed Johan Seong".  The court was in an uproar.  The murmuring was so loud and unsilencable that the judge called a ten minute recess.

Outside the court room for the recess (Name) and Zoe talk.  "I can't believe that idiot would open his mouth" (Name) said.  "It was almost over, but now he's dragging us all back in!  This is why we don't work for gangsters like him".

Zoe tried to calm (Name) down, but they weren't having any of it.  They continue like that until recess was over.

The judge cleared his throat. "The court is now back in session. Mr. Jong you say you know who killed Mr. Seong. If this is true who was it and why have you waited so long to tell the court?"

Gun had a smug look on his face. "I'm not gonna tell you why I had to wait, but I do know the killer.  He's a man named Jin Jang.  He and Johan had a bad relationship, and he wanted Johan gone".

The court once again gasps at the mention of the, new, possible killer's name.  "A-And where might this Jin Jang be now?" The judge asks in horror.

Gun smirks again but (Name) doubts anyone else has noticed.  They all, including Zoe and the prosecutor, seem high on adrenaline.  The new information is still too much. "I have no idea where he's gone.  We're not friends or anything after all.  He is a killer.  I wouldn't wanna be around a guy like that".

(Name) knew the defendant was full of it, but that didn't change the outcome of his case.  Sent off scot-free.  The courts didn't even wanna hold him afterwards.  Jong Gun truthful or a liar was free.  "Zoe," they turned to the girl "good job getting your client off the hook, but next time maybe pick 'em better.  This could of gone south really quickly.  I have to say it's lucky he's a gangster and had those tricks up his sleeve.  I could go my whole life without seeing that bastard again and not have a problem".
