(Name) didn't think it would be this damn difficult: making the first move on her boyfriend of four months. She was at his house. It was just them in the apartment.
She planned to just rest her head on him while the sat on the couch and watched T.V., but every time she got the courage up to do it Vasco either got up or looked her dead in the eyes and scared that bravery away. It would send her back to the beginning with a light blush. (Name) couldn't miss the opportunity though.
She was determined to be affectionate this time. She wrapped her arms around her zoned out boyfriend, and leaned in to him. She was so focused on doing it she couldn't bother to think of how her checks puffed out from how she held her breath during the strange hug.
"Ah, (Name) what are you doing?" Vasco was bewildered at his girlfriend's actions. She was rarely as cute and touchy as right now.
(Name) felt her face burn at the question. "I uh I wanted a hug," she answered trying not to show too much about how she truly felt.
Vasco smiled at her. It made him happy to get (Name)'s attention like that. "I want a hug too then" he replied before turning to engulf her in his embrace.
Unable to contain her smile (Name) let herself blush harder, and pull in Vasco with equal the force as he did to her. She couldn't help but to think about how lucky she was to have him. He was as great of a boyfriend she could ever ask for.
