Hiccup

We were walking through the snow when the scariest thing of my life happened.

We were just about to the North Mountain. Merida was walking next to me, looking around for danger like she always did.

All of a sudden, she grabbed at her gut, folding over. Her face was white, covered in pain.

"Merida!" I shouted. Rapunzel was by her side in a second, hair grown longer. Before she could do anything, Merida straightened. Her skin was regaining it's color, her hands at her side.

"I'm fine. I must have moved wrong. Honestly, I'm fine!"

Merida walked with Rapunzel and Anna while Jack fell in step with me.

"Rapunzel did the same thing yesterday. She stood up and was just in pain," he said in a low voice. I pondered this for a while.

Eventually, we found ourselves in a valley. It was a beautiful winter wonderland. Ice hanging from the trees clinked as we walked through it.

"This is more beautiful than anything you could do, Jack," I said. Jack stuck out his tongue.

"I never knew snow could be so beautiful," Anna said.

"Yeah, but it could use a little more color," came a voice. We all looked at each other, confused when it wasn't any of us. "Maybe some maroon or yellow. Wait, no yellow."

We all looked down to see a snowman. He looked up at us. "Hello!"

Anna screamed, kicking his head. It flew into Kristoff's arms. He tossed it to Merida, who threw it at me. It chucked it Jack, who quickly dumped it in Rapunzel's arms. She threw it back at the body.

The snowman stood up, but now his head was upside down.

"Wait, why are you all hanging off the earth like bats?" he asked. Anna knelt down.

"Sorry. Let me help." She turned the head back around.

"Now I'm perfect!" he exclaimed.

"Well, almost," Rapunzel said. She took a carrot out of Kristoff's bag and put it on his face.

"I love it!" he exclaimed. "Now let's start over. Hi everyone, I'm Olaf, and I like warm hugs!"

"Olaf?" Anna said, lost in thought. "Yeah, Olaf!"

"And you are..?" Olaf said.

"I'm Anna."

"Who's the ginger?"

"That's Merida."

"I don't know if I should be offended or not," Merida whispered.

"Uh-huh, and who's the one leg guy?"

"Hiccup."

"Alright, who's the old guy?"

"Hey now!" Jack exclaimed while we cracked up.

"That's Jack," Anna finally managed.

"Okay, and who's the brunette?"

"Rapunzel."

"Uh-huh, and who's the funky looking donkey?"

"Sven."

"Alright, and the reindeer?"

"Sven," Anna answered, confused. Jack, Rapunzel, Merida, and I laughed so hard we actually started crying. Kristoff stood there, looking very offended.

"Olaf, did Elsa make you?" Rapunzel asked.

"Yeah, why?"

"Do you know where she is?" I asked.

"Yeah, why?"

"Could you take us to her?" Jack asked.

"Yeah, why?"

"We need her to bring back summer," Anna said.

"Oh! I don't know why, but I've always loved the idea of summer, and sun, and all things hot."

"Really?" Kristoff asked. "I'm guessing you don't much experience with heat."

"Nope!" Olaf sounded so excited as he described what summer will be like. Merida looked kind of sad. I grabbed her hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze.

"Let's go bring back summer!" Olaf shouted as he led us towards the North Mountain.

As we walked, Merida continued to look sadly at Olaf.

"What's wrong?" I asked quietly.

"I know what heat can do to snow. I don't want that happening to him, especially since he doesn't know what I can do."

I pulled her in for a side hug, not knowing how to respond. All the while, the North Mountain loomed over us.
