Charlie was seated at his computer terminal and Angelica paced behind him. "I should be with them," she thought, anxious that they were now out of contact with Elijah and his brothers, her need to be in control coupled with her irritation at being sidelined pushed her patience to the limit. But there was more than her selfish pride to contend with as Henrik Finn was the most important thing in her life, possibly even more important than Elijah. Angelica began to envision that age-old dilemma of facing the choice to save your son or save your husband but being unable to save them both, who do you choose? She shook off the disturbing notion but instead asked herself, "What would Elijah want me to do?" She knew his answer would always be Henrik Finn first and she used that to calm her mind, for now.

Charlie had obtained the City plans and there were no tunnels indicated but he was digging deeper into the historical records. "Bingo!" he shouted as he slammed his hand down on the table. He had found it in the archives on a 200-year-old set of plans. The tunnels stretched for miles and terminated at various points around Boston, but the abandoned garage was not the focal point, only one of the tunnels ran underneath it according to the plans. The tunnel ran from the bay to a point well out of the Boston city limits. Angelica told him to send the maps to Elijah even though they were out of range. Angelica and Charlie waited for hours but no word came from Elijah or his brothers. Their cell phones were still out of range preventing Charlie from tracking them. Rafe and Albee wandered in for updates, of which there were none, then left Charlie to his computers.

Angelica resumed her methodical pacing until Henrik Finn appeared in the doorway, asking, "Mom, are you okay?" Angelica looked at her son and told him she was fine, that she was just worried. "About Dad?" he asked. Angelica thought to tell a little white lie to her son but with him being an empath like she was, she knew better. She sat down and put Henrik Finn on her lap, wrapping her arms around him. "Yes, I am worried. Your father and Uncle Niklaus went to help your Uncle Kol find Aunt Davina. They are searching in a tunnel under Boston and we cannot reach them right now, so it is making me anxious because I worry about your father. But I am sure they are fine." Charlie was surprised she was so direct with Henrik Finn but then with the boy's genius he was no ordinary five-year-old. Henrik Finn thought about what she said, kissed his mother on the cheek, jumped down to the floor then ran out of the computer room.

Charlie looked at Angelica for a moment then turned back to his screens. Angelica told him she would be back shortly as it was time to make Henrik Finn's lunch and told Charlie she would make a tray for him if he wanted. He nodded and thanked her without taking his eyes off the screens. Angelica headed to the kitchen and returned a short time later with Charlie's lunch. He shook his head from side to side to indicate there was still no word from Elijah or his brothers. She nodded then went back to sit with Henrik Finn while he finished his lunch.

Rafe, Albee, and Rebekah joined her at the kitchen table. Everyone was becoming anxious and they all knew they needed to leave Charlie to his technology. He would let them know if anything had changed. The vampires made small talk to keep the conversation light being sensitive to the fact that Henrik Finn would pick up on their emotions. They did not want to worry the boy needlessly. As they chatted about nothing, Henrik Finn set down his half-eaten sandwich on the plate, his face tensing while his eyes gazed out in the distance. Rebekah was across the table from him and noticed it first. "Henrik Finn," Rebekah said, calmly, but he did not respond. Angelica looked at her son and repeated his name, softly, but still no reaction. Angelica put up her hand to signal to the others to be quiet, she knew what it was: Henrik Finn was having a vision.

Several seconds had passed but it felt like an eternity. Suddenly, Henrik Finn grabbed Angelica's hand and in that moment of connection he showed her what he was seeing. Henrik Finn released his grip on his mother's hand and Angelica stood up with such force it knocked her chair halfway across the kitchen. She said nothing but only scooped up her son in her arms and hugged him. Her heart was racing as Henrik Finn spoke, "It isn't real, but they don't know it. You have to help them, Mom, it isn't real!"

Angelica held tight to her son, not wanting to set him down as tears streamed down her face, wanting to protect him from what he had seen but the boy seemed to have a good grasp on the difference between a dream, or in this case a nightmare, and reality. It was easy to forget that he was a warlock and a powerful witch, even if he was only five years old. Rafe, Albee, and Rebekah wanted to ask what she saw but waited. Rafe picked up the kitchen chair and set it right. Henrik Finn kissed his mother and asked her, "May I finish my lunch now?" Angelica looked at her son and thought to herself, "Was he really so undisturbed by what he saw?" She set him down and he took his chair at the table and finished eating his sandwich. She wiped her face and sat down in the chair Rafe had placed for her; the three of them waiting until the boy was done with his lunch. When he was finished, he asked if he could be excused and Angelica told him he was but stopped him as he was walking away to ask him if he was alright. "Yes, Mom, it isn't real. Will you go help them? You have to go to help them. They need you." She nodded, and Henrik Finn left the kitchen bound for the library as he was eager to finish a book on chemistry he had been reading.

"What did you see?" pressed Rebekah, the wait had been excruciating. Angelica paused for a moment as she separated her emotional response to the vision from the rational analysis of the vision. Angelica proceeded to tell them that if what Henrik Finn saw was correct, the brothers were in trouble, caught in a witch's trap. "What do you mean?" asked Rafe. Henrik Finn's vision enabled him to see what the Mikaelson brothers were each seeing. "They are experiencing their worst horrors, their worst fears, caught in a brain loop that they believe is real," she said. Rebekah recalled Angelica's response to it, "What specifically are they seeing, Angelica?" Angelica took a breath and told them that all three are experiencing the horror of losing control over their monstrous natures and destroying the one thing they each held most dear.

Rebekah's phone startled everyone when it began to vibrate. She would have ignored it yet the display read, Freya. She greeted her sister and then told Freya to wait a moment while she put her on speaker phone. Freya related to them that Hope was in a state, Hayley could barely keep her calm, and she kept screaming for Niklaus. Freya had helped to calm Hope down, but they were trying to reach Niklaus. Rebekah advised Freya about what they had just discovered. "We need to go to Boston, but we cannot leave the children unprotected," Angelica said. They all agreed, and a plan was set in motion.

The helicopter arrived to take Rebekah, Henrik Finn, Rafe, and Albee to the private airfield where their Leer jet was housed. Angelica gave her son a longer hug than usual, still unsure about letting him go to Virginia. Rebekah and Rafe both reassured her he would be fine. He was boarded onto the helicopter and Angelica handed him his backpack, telling Rebekah that his schedule was inside and to be sure he had time to video chat with Joey and Boswell. After a few more reminders Rebekah put her foot down and told Angelica not to worry and then they were gone.

They flew to Mystic Falls, Virginia, where arrangements had already been made for the four of them to stay at the home that Niklaus, Freya, and Hayley shared with Hope near the Salvatore School. Alaric and Caroline were briefed on what was happening and assured Angelica they would use the time to show Henrik Finn the school and to keep him occupied. Freya would take a flight into Boston and meet Angelica and Charlie, who were caravanning to Boston in separate vehicles. She drove the SUV while Charlie drove the Grumman he had customized as a mobile command vehicle. This was a witch problem and Freya and Angelica were the best suited to deal with witches.
