Henrik Finn opened his eyes to see Rebekah, Rafe and Albee sitting around him, staring at him. "There's my brave boy," said Rebekah, as she smiled from ear to ear. Henrik Finn sat up in bed, rubbing his eyes, then looked at Albee. "Uncle Albee, I'm sorry, I'm sorry," he said as tears fell from the boy's eyes. He scrambled across the bed and into Albee's arms, crying harder, "I'm sorry I didn't listen, I'm sorry, I'll never do it again, I promise, I promise!" Albee hugged the boy in return, telling him everything was going to be alright, but Henrik Finn cried even harder.

Niklaus appeared in the doorway and walked into the room. "Do you all mind if I have a chat with my young nephew, here?" asked Niklaus. Albee set Henrik Finn down onto the bed, tossled the boy's hair, then he and Rafe left the room. Rebekah kissed Henrik Finn on his head then wiped the tears from his face. She squeezed Niklaus on the arm before she left the room.

Niklaus sat down on the bed next to Henrik Finn. He handed the young man a handkerchief and told him kindly to wipe him face. Niklaus told him that he had spoken to Elijah and told him that he was safe. He also told him that Elijah would not be able to review his letters today because he and his mother were unexpectedly delayed but his father tasked Niklaus with the review and delivery of the apologies. The uncle and nephew sat there for a while chatting about actions and consequences. Niklaus was amazingly good with small children and it was not long before he had Henrik Finn smiling again.

Niklaus asked Henrik Finn if he remembered what happened downstairs and Henrik Finn nodded his head that he did. Niklaus explained to him that his was a special gift and he needed to keep his abilities to himself for now until he could discuss them with his parents. Henrik Finn understood the dangers should someone outside the family discover what he could do. He rose from the bed and walked across the room to the desk and picked up a small stack of papers from the desk. He handed them to Niklaus who reviewed them and deemed the letters to be well written and communicated his apology from the heart. He told Henrik Finn that he could give the letters to his Uncle Rafe and Uncle Albee, but that Niklaus would arrange for him to deliver his letter to Headmaster Saltzman after things calmed down.

The two finished speaking and Henrik Finn gave his uncle a hug before Niklaus left the room. Rafe was just hanging up the phone with Charlie and Niklaus paused and whispered to Rafe that the boy did not need to know what was happening in Salem. Rafe agreed and he followed Albee into Henrik Finn's room. As the young man delivered his heartfelt apology to complete his punishment both Albee and Rafe thought that Henrik Finn had never spoken truer words, having now seen first-hand the dire consequences that result from such misbehavior. But unbeknownst to the brothers, Henrik Finn was already aware of how bad things were in Salem. He sensed the danger that his mother was in and worse yet, he felt his father release the dark part of himself, an action that even young Henrik Finn knew meant that things were dire in Salem, and he was helpless to do anything about it. He decided he needed to put on a brave front, stay out of trouble, and pray that everything would be alright with his parents.
