Elijah and Angelica were surrounded by the four points of light, their voices echoing and speaking to them simultaneously then alternating as they collectively created sentences. Angelica was like a scientist with a new discovery. She had no fear and in fact felt comfortable with the current state of events. Elijah, on the other hand, was more cautious and reserved. Angelica interacted with the lights, asking, "Why did you call me the daughter of Venus?" The lights responded, "Because Venus herself gave a part of herself in your creation. Your mother was of your realm but was also of our realm." Angelica asked why and the voices explained that Venus with her empathy and her capability for love was an essential ingredient to correct that which was disrupted by the curse of the dragon king. "Our sister, Venus, responded to our call to right that which was wronged when we created the Chosen, when we created, you."

Angelica was so excited about the interaction that she actually became intimidated, "My God," she told Elijah, "I am speaking with actual goddesses." Elijah was still not convinced, ever the skeptic. The voices continued, "Daughter of Venus, you have excelled in every challenge that has been placed before you. But the portal must be protected and the Dragons are the only ones who can truly protect the Keeper of the passageway between the worlds." Angelica asked, "The portal is here, yes, in Elijah's mind?" The lights answered, "The Daughter of Venus understands." Angelica was exhilarated that she had deduced correctly the location of the portal. She went further to understand that she and Henrik Finn, the only Dragons, were tasked with that protection. But the lights went on, "The Daughter of Venus and the Dragon King will need help in protecting both the Keeper and the portal. The Pentadeae are strong and the Chosen must be vigilant. The Elementum have seen this in prophecy and in fate, and the Elementum have taken steps to assure the safety of the Keeper of the Portal."

Elijah felt pain as a ball of light emanated from his chest then spread to the very tips of his fingers and down to his toes until both the light and the pain were gone. Elijah held his chest and asked, "What did you do to me?" But the vagueness of the response did not please him, "That which needed to be done to ensure the protection of the Keeper of the Portal as the Consort of the Chosen and the Progenitor of Dragons."

Angelica grasped Elijah by the arm as both she and Elijah recognized the plurality of the statement. Elijah asked, "Why do you say Dragons to indicate more than one? Are Dragons not limited in this capacity?" The Elementum replied, "We sought and obtained a waiver from the Triumvirate to ensure the Dragons are sufficient to protect the Keeper of the Portal. It is already done. The Triskelion will aid the Chosen in protecting the Keeper of the portal until the Septum is completed."

"Already done?" asked Elijah, "We participated in no ceremony, there was no sacrifice." But the Elementum only replied, "The process to correct that which was accursed is no longer relevant. The curse has been corrected. The Elementum are creation. The Daughter of Venus and the Son of Esther desired that which has been made so. The consent has been given. The Triskelion will ensure the safety of the Keeper of the Portal. The Triskelion are only the beginning. The Septum will emerge as defenders of the earthly realm. The Daughter of Venus and the Son of Esther are the key to it all. It is your destiny."

The revelation was overwhelming but Angelica struggled to set aside her awe to ask a critical question, "How is the Pentadeae Prophet able to have visions and foretell events?" The Elementum replied, "The Daughter of Venus already has the answer. She understands the Prophet's limitations. She now has the means to destroy the Prophet and recover the Celestial Key."

Angelica wanted more but the lights began to fade and within moments the lights were gone, the forest vanished, and they were ejected from the presence of the Elementum. Angelica and Elijah both gasped as they were cast back into the earthly realm. As they opened their eyes, they found themselves looking at Freya, who had been working for the last half hour to reach them inside of Elijah's mind. Elijah squeezed Angelica's hand, then looked to Freya and Charlie, asking, "Would you please give us a few moments alone?"

Freya had many questions but nodded as she and Charlie left the room. Once they were alone, Elijah looked to Angelica and asked if what they experienced really happened. She nodded that it had. "They said it was already done, Angelica." She leaned back in her chair and mulled over whether it was possible that Elijah's suspicion about her had been correct after all. "But I don't feel different, Elijah, perhaps it is too soon or perhaps it has not happened yet?" He told her that now more than ever she needed to leave Salem, she needed to leave this fight to him, that the danger was now too great, and this was a vulnerability. They discussed that he should leave as well as they needed to ensure the portal was kept as far away from the key as possible.

Angelica paused for a moment and pondered whether the decision they were making was the right one. If they were destined to recover the key and defeat the Prophet then nothing they do will stop that from occurring. She pondered whether the decision they were making was a spontaneous act that would change what the Prophet might see. She also worried about whether the Prophet would eventually see that Elijah held the portal and the Prophet would come for him after all. They had Elijah vulnerable when they took Freya and Angelica, leaving him behind, but perhaps the Coven would realize their mistake.

"There are just too many variables in this situation," she said. But Elijah brought it into focus. "Angelica, my darling, you, we, are pregnant. I don't quite know how they changed us but they did. You know it is true. It has only been seven days but I saw the signs that I missed the last time and you are ignoring the signs this time, again. This changes everything. We need to make decisions now to ensure the safety of our ... children."
