(Sophie's POV)

The ogre lead me into a room with weapons and armor. "Choose your stuff wisely." He told me. Was he stupid? I could use this stuff on him, but when I turned around, he was gone. I decided to take his words seriously, because based off of experience, ogres never fooled around.

I picked out a strong piece of armor with beautiful details on it. Then I picked a perfectly weighed sword. I thought I caught it glowing in my hand, but it seemed normal when I looked directly at it. It was pretty slim, and cut through the air quicker than she could blink.

Right when she was done selecting her items, the door at the other end of the room opened

Right when she was done selecting her items, the door at the other end of the room opened. Two ogres stepped in. "If you are even thinking of using that stuff on us little Moonlark, forget about it. I didn't come unarmed you know." I gritted my teeth. I dropped my sword. One ogre picked it up, while the other guided me out.

"Can you at least tell me whats going on?" I snarled. The one guiding me laughed. "Well, since you flooded our home, I don't think you can be forgiven. King Dimitar wouldn't do anything about it, so we took matters into our own hands." These were the rouge ogres.

"Why haven't you killed me yet?" I asked, fearing the question. "Well, since you are of ancient blood, you must prove yourself. We cannot outright kill you without any trials." "Wait, ancient blood? And what trials?" That only made him chuckle. "You must fight our best warriors to see if you are worthy to live. As for your second question, I should have your precious Black Swan answer that, but let me guess, they haven't contacted you." He burst out laughing. My jaw clenched, but I stayed silent.

"Okay, when those doors open, you have to defeat Omgle." "Om- who?" "Nothing." he said, like he knew I was already dead. Great.

(Dex's POV)

Sophie, his best friend, just gone like that. It was all he could think about. It had been a couple of days since Sophie was kidnapped. They were in Fitz's bedroom, thinking of random ideas, when they settled on one. They leaped over to Havenfield, when Biana gave them the okay to say that Grady and Edaline weren't there. They walked over to Calla's tree, which had become a very popular spot for the gnomes. They walked up to one, "Hey, were you good friends with Sophie Foster?" I asked. She nodded. Her name was Evelyn.  "Why, what happened?" "Well, she has gone missing, please don't tell anyone, and we think you could track her." Keefe cut off Fitz.

Evelyn quickly agreed to help, promising not to tell anyone of Sophie's disappearance. We showed her the pile of dirt in Fitz's backyard where the ogres had taken Sophie.

If everything went according to plan, Evelyn would sing to the trees, and they would show her where the ogres went using their tunnel. After 5 minutes nothing happened. I was starting to lose hope, but then, everyone got sucked under, and we were being moved along by the roots.

When we resurfaced, I was not happy about where we were. "The Ogres's old battle arena." Linh breathed. The old battle arena would be easily infiltrated, with people giving opponents advantages, such as information, weapons, and healing medicine. So The old ogre king built a new one. The surprise was, that there were actual ogres in the stands around the stadium. "Okay.........we need a new plan." Keefe stated the obvious. "Gee, you think?" Tam said. "Shut up Bangs boy."
