(sophie's POV)
I waved goodbye to everyone, since they all had to get home, including me. Stuffing the gem into one of my pockets, I light leaped back to Havenfield. When I walked into the huge mansion, Grady and Edaline ran up to me, engulfing me into a tight hug. They didn't ask what happened during the meeting, which I was grateful for. They probably knew that whatever happened with the council was confidential.
I walked up to my room, where an angry Sandor awaited. We had ditched him, knowing that he wouldn't be happy with the council's orders. "The Neverseen are gone now Sandor. I'm fine see!" I tried to calm him down, but he just glared at me. I closed the door on him, not wanting to go through another lecture.
I pulled the gem out of my pocket, and instantly started looking for a place to put it. I didn't want to have a conjuror put it away, due to the last break in................................................., keefe! Wait, ...KEEFE!
I smiled, and idea coming to mind. I took out the necklace that Keefe had given me right before he betrayed them. Shaking the dark memory from my mind. I recalled that there was a small crystal that he had put on her necklace to help her escape.
Running my fingers over the necklace, I tried to look for the same empty space that he had put the crystal in. When I found it, I popped the gem inside. It fit perfectly. Now I would be able to keep a close eye on it, and use it to help control my powers like the council wanted. Whatever that means.
