Song of the chapter: Somebody To You By The Vamps ft Demi Lovato.

Shaye and I arrive back into the lounge, giggling like a bunch of school girls. Wait, we are a bunch of school girls... awkward. The movie is almost half-way through and everyone has their eyes glued to the screen.

"You're back!"

"Finally!"

"How long can it take one to do dishes?"

"Oh shut up you all, you're missing out on the information on Chlamydia." And sure enough, Coach Carr appears on the screen, talking about Chlamydia and even tries to spell it which fails miserably. Shaye takes her rightful place next to Ashton, he welcomes her back into his arms and gives her a tight cuddle. They look so cute together, I'd been too wrapped up in my own hatred for her to not notice how much she cared for Ashton. And it was obvious that he felt the same way.

I find a small spot next to Michael. It's not too close and not too far, it's perfect. He lays lazily on the four seat couch, his eyes steer away from the movie and land on me. They glisten so well in the darkness and have me feeling seduced. I get comfortable and focus on the hysteria of teenage girl problems.

"I missed you." Michael whispers in my ear, ever so quietly. His lips linger near my ear after he tells me. I look around to see if anyone is noticing this but they aren't.  I see a slight twitch of Michael's left hand move away from his body and into the open space that lies between us. I look down at my hands, wanting to connect them with Michael's. To feel his warm touch and his soft palm against mine. What are these emotions even?

I glance around the room once again, as a precaution. Their eyes still glued to the movie, not having a care in the world for what is going on. I slide my hand off my lap and slowly move it to Michael's.

The journey is slow and steady like a turtle. Michael gives me a small smirk as I intertwine our hands. I am hoping this is not obvious with a pillow kind of hiding our hands and the fact that we are now sitting just a bit closer than friends should be. I keep my attention to the TV, feeling the warmth of our hands transfer from one another.

The movie has ended and everyone is contemplating whether to watch another one or do something else. Voices of opinions shoot from one side of the room to the other, frustrated sighs are released and I am just a by-stander, watching from the bleachers. It looks like I'll be waiting for an answer for a while.

20 minutes later...

We have finally decided that we are going to get Fish and Chips and eat it at The Base. Majority voted apart from Michael who was happy enough to stay home and just laze around and play video games. Lord knows why I chose him.

"Okay, so we'll leave in about 15" Calum announces, a range of head nods and "okays" throw back at him. The weather seems to have picked up quite nicely and I'm afraid my dance pants won't make the cut today.

"I'm just going to get changed into some jeans." I tell Michael who has magically appeared next to me.

"Okay, just meet me in my room when you're done." He whispers ever so innocently. I shake my head and leave him. I pass Shaye and Bryar in the bathroom, redoing their hair and adjusting their outfits. As I pass them, Shaye gives me a small smile. Bryar obviously didn't get the memo about us being cool so she nudges her and says: "What the fuck?" Me being incredibly curious and cunning, I continue to walk past but then stop outside the door and listen.

"What was that?" Bryar's voice is covered with confusion and frustration.

"I was just smiling. Am I not aloud to have free reign of what I can or can't do?" I peer through the door crack and see that they both have their backs to me.
