Well, now. I'm not sure what to say. Being asked what I am is difficult to answer. After all, I guess you could say that I am a dragon and yet a human as well. Maybe, I should just answer with my name?
"I am Ray?" Hmmm, I think that sort of somehow came out as a question. Oh well.
"What kind of answer is that? Tell me, how can you do the things you can do? I have never heard of anyone who can use as many different kinds of magic as you can!" Lilliana glared at me.
What did I do wrong, I ask you? Why should she be glaring at me? I mean, is it true that no one else can use four kinds of magic? But well, I can use them all.
Better to keep that to myself for now. She seems upset with just the current amount!
"Lilli! We need to move! Soldiers are exiting the gate!" The new elf yelled suddenly.
Nice save! I am not sure why, but Lilliana seems particularly upset with me. Could it be jelousy?
If that's the case, I had better watch out for her. My mother once told me that a woman's jealousy was a dangerous thing, especially when a male was involved. I am a male, so if she is jealous, it makes me nervous.
"This isn't the end of this!" Lilliana yells at me as she grabs my hand.
Turning around, she began to run, the others chasing us. Ok, why are we running? Also, what are soldiers? And most importantly, what's the new elf girl called?
Oh wait! Didn't Lilliana say something in the building where we found this elf? What was it again? I'm pretty sure she said a name when the elf girl came up to the platform. Hmmm......Oh right, it was Marybelle....I think. I'm pretty bad at names but I think I got this one right.
Well, as I was pondering about the new elf's name, we were running further from the town. Before I knew it, we entered the forest.
Now why are we entering the forest again? I'm pretty sure that this is still the Abysal Forest. If memory serves me right on my geography, this forest is completely not connected to the central forest that's home to the elves. Weren't we going to their home?
We began to slow down as I was thinking of this. Eventually we came to a stop. Great, because I feel that I've been running an awful lot lately! And it's not like my feet are free from these contraptions yet!
"I..huff, huff.....I think....huff, huff....I think we're okay now." Lilliana huffed as she attempted to catch her breath. She should really learn to breath when she runs.
"Will these trees be able to hide us?" Luna asked.
"They will." Marybelle the new elf suddenly said. Without another word, her eyes began to glow a deep forest green and green lights began to appear around her face. After a short while, the lights covered her whole body.
Why does this scene seem familiar? That's right! I remember now! Lilliana did the same thing! Only, her eyes turned blue and the lights only ever covered her face. Does this mean that whatever magic this elf is conjuring is stronger than Lilliana's?
Well, while I was thinking of that, the new elf girl completed her magic and thrust her arms out in front of her. The lights that were covering her body flew out and attached itself to the plants around us. Suddenly and without warning, the plants seemed to have entered a growth spurt. I mean, they were growing at an extraordinary rate!
This is a submagic that actually combines earth magic, water magic, and light magic. Although I say submagic, it's actually really strong.
I've found that combining magic is super hard. Well, you try it sometime! I've actually only succeeded in combining two types. Well, I'm sure with a bit of practice, I can learn to combine even more.
