Hmm. This situation....how should I say? I glanced over to my right. I feel I should probably be nervous over the fact that I'm in an enclosed space with this person.

Instead, I just feel sick. I feel I should just let out my lunch on the ground, but that would be a waste of my lunch. So instead, I put my hand over my mouth and look at the person sitting next to me.

It was a human female, and one that I had met before. She had long red hair and green eyes. Although, her green eyes scared me. They were as cold and dead as ever. And I must say that Hanna's scary smile as she looked back at me almost made me forget to hold back my lunch.

Ahh, what is this situation? How did I get myself here, stuck with the scariest female human ever?! And stuck in another one of those moving "carriages" that make me sick to my stomach.

I bet you're wondering the same thing. Like, what happened after Umbra and I successfully passed mother's test? Like, I shouldn't just skip past parts to make the story even more confusing than it already is.

Well, don't judge me so harshly! I am still processing this sudden turn of events myself! Give me a minute to comprehend my current situation!

It all started when Umbra and I left the cave......

"Come on, Umbra. Let's go find someone."

I looked down at my dragon baby suddenly. Why did I ever think this would work! I can't just go bringing a baby dragon to trot around in a human den! What if they decide to eat her!

"What should I do, Umbra?! You can't go around looking like a dragon like this! Humans might attack and eat you! You need to be careful so they don't see you!" I fretted.

"Humans bad, Papa?" Umbra asked me with her innocent eyes.

"Yes, my little shadow. They are very very bad! They will eat or subjugate you in a heartbeat! It's a miracle I have survived in these lands thus far, but I somehow managed to fool them into thinking I was a human myself. However, now that I have you, it will be much harder to blend in. What should we do?" I sighed. I suppose I will need to find a way to hide her before I find someone.

"Mmm, humans bad. Umbra will hide." Umbra told me.

"Hide? Hide where?" I asked her, confused.

"Umbra will hide in Papa's shadow!" Umbra said confidently.

"Eh? In my shadow? What does that mean?" No, really. How does one hide in a shadow.

Well, I found out real quick! She just up and jumped in, like it was a pool of water or something! How did she do that?! An even better question is why is her magic so much more advanced than mine?! I must conclude that human bodies are not as advanced as dragons. Sigh.....

It was a strange feeling. I could feel her there, in my shadow. It was like she was part of me, and yet not. Also, I could feel her rolling in the shinies that she hid there.

Wait a minute! She put those in MY shadow?! Hold on, she's rolling in them WITHOUT me?! WHY?! Boo hoo.... 😭

Well, I suppose that solves that problem. I wonder if she will remain with me even if I move. Well, my shadow moves, but will she?

I took a step forward. I could still feel her relishing the feel of rolling in shiny things. Are they even shining in the shadow? Hmph, I'm not jealous at all.

Ah, my poor shinies.....

Anyway, I decided I should probably put my earlier plan of finding someone into motion.
