The swaying back and forth is causing my last meal to work it's way up my throat. How long were we going to be in this moving box?
"So how long have you known Ray and Luna?" Is that Marybelle? Can she not talk? I'm trying to focus! You know, on not losing my last meal!
"I met Luna in a rich man's house. She was a slave there. They treated her harshly. They made her fight for their pleasure, and if she lost, they beat her nearly to death! Simply disgusting! I risked my life to free her. I would risk my life to free all slaves. In what started out as a mission to find you, I found myself instead finding ways to let other slaves be free. Luna was the first I helped. She has helped me for these last two years." The bubbling feeling is settling down! Yay!
"Wow. I never even knew. I thought I would be a slave for my whole life after I was captured. I was lucky, though. The person who bought me was a collector. He simply made me stand in a display case while he showcased me to all his friends. It's because elf slaves are very rare. It wasn't until he had money troubles that he reluctantly put me up for auction. What about Ray? What's her story?" Nope. It's back! I can feel it! You can do it, me! Do not let it come up!
"Ray? I'm not too sure. Luna and I were captured by orcs after we secretly met up with someone who could inform us about you. They killed him, and took me and Luna to be breeders. They had their way with us for three months before Ray appeared. They had captured her for breeding as well. Luckily, we managed to escape before any harm happened to her. Although, with what I've seen, I don't think anything would have happened anyway! With the magic she can control, I'm not even sure how she was captured!" Can this box just stop swaying so much?
"That's true. I wonder, too. Her magic is the strongest I've ever heard of!" Maybe I should walk. But then, I'm not sure if this box is influenced by space magic. What if it's magic that's working right now? I'm not sure how to get to wherever it is we are going!
"She was asking about a big beast fight. It happened right before we were captured by the orcs. I thought I even saw dragons! At least five dragons. It was one against four, but that one was putting up a grand fight. After a long time, though, the other four prevailed over the one. They grabbed the defeated dragon and flew off. While we were in shock, the orcs found us." Maybe if I saw a detailed map, I wouldn't need to take this magic box towards the dragon kingdom.
"Woah! Dragons? Like, real dragons?! What on earth were they doing this far away from their territory?" I wonder if they have a map? But would that even help?
"Your guess is as good as mine. Speaking of dragons, though, Ray's full name is Ray Dragonden. She's related to the Grand Duke of the Altrove kingdom. I have a feeling that even if she was captured for her part in your rescue, nothing much will happen to her. But, we need her help still! Ray, I hope you are still willing to stay with us. I feel bad for tricking you into helping us." Eh? Is Lilliana talking?
I can't help it. I covered my mouth. I feel it's not gonna be tamed, this stomach of mine! However, I may have spoke too soon. With a lurch, the box stopped. Finally! Yay!
"BANDITS!" Ben yelled from outside the box. Is that a human way to say, we've come to a stop?
I'm not sure why, but the females look scared all of a sudden. Lilliana changed her scared look into a determined look. She reached across the box and grabbed my hands tightly.
"No matter what happens, you cannot use any other magic but earth magic. Do you understand? If you use your other magic, you will draw unwanted attention to yourself!" I nodded enthusiastically. After all, drawing unwanted attention sounds like something I don't want!
