I'm soooooooo bored! Bored, bored, bored, bored, bored! There is absolute nothing in the world to do! Boring!
Eh? What do you mean, you're confused? You wanna know what happened after I was recaptured by the bandit leader that lead me to being so incredibly bored?
Well, I will have you know that I'm not just bored. I'm still incredibly hungry! I'm trying to think of my boredom to take away from my hunger.
After the bandit leader grabbed me, I'm not sure where the females went. If anything, I must admit that I was never really bored when I was with them.
Anyway, the bandit leader forced me onto one of the walking prey that normally pulls the box that I had been riding in. The prey was on its own and had the leather hide of another animal on its back.
And that is where I sat, on its back. It wasn't just me, either. The bandit leader joined me.
It was a strange feeling, riding on the back of prey that should be running away from me. I've never heard of a dragon riding on the back of another creature, especially prey. In fact, I can't even imagine it! Well, for one thing, they are too small for normal dragons.
Moving on. We rode on its back for a considerable length of time. Eventually, we came upon another human den.
After threatening me not to say a word, we rode along through the gates of the den. We went down several corridors before coming upon a dilapidated wooden structure.
I was pulled into the structure and to my surprise, the bandit leader lifted up a portion of the floor! I didn't even see how he did that. It was truly amazing!
To my greater surprise, there was a hole under the floor, to which I was roughly thrown into. I landed on the floor, and looked up at the bandit leader. It wasn't as far down as the ceiling hole back in my den, but it was too far up for me to climb out of it.
The bandit leader smirked down at me from above. "Don't even think of using magic to get out of this place! It's sealed from the outside and has magical traps on the inside! Don't say I didn't warn you! Hehehe!"
He sure is a happy fellow, always laughing at everything he says. Or maybe no one else finds him funny and he laughs so there will be at least one person to laugh at his jokes. Personally, I don't see what is so funny.
Fortunately for me, though, I figured out he's working with my mother. I suppose I will heed his demands for now.
In the mean time, I'm stuck in the boring hole being bored and hungry with nothing in particular to do or eat. It's not like I'm allowed to use magic to get something to eat.
I have already figured out that his "warning" was the trial he was giving me. My goal is to escape from this hole without the use of magic.
I looked around the hole I was in. It's not nearly as dark as that last hole I was in. Light was streaming in through some cracks in the ceiling.
This time it wasn't empty, either. I am probably supposed to use the things in this hole to help me escape. On the plus side, there's a lot of shiny things around.
Shiny.....
Ahem. Sorry, I got distracted. What were we talking about?
*growl*
Sigh. There goes my stomach again. I should really find something to eat! Wait a minute! What's that? An egg? A large egg was hidden beneath some shiny gems.
Haha! Lunch! I knew that anyone working with my mother wouldn't let me starve to death!
I quickly dug out the egg. It was half my size and sparkled translucently. It reminded me of my mother's scales.
