What to do now? Should I run again? I mean, I just escaped my last pursuers  who's to say I would escape again? Am I gonna be eaten?  I was at a complete loss on what to do. In the mean time, she just stared down at me.

Who, you ask? The one who caught me. One of the females I first met. The one who I thought could only ask questions. Why is she back to asking questions?

"Are you being chased by the guards?" Luna, the beastkin girl, asked me as she glanced at the entrance of the corridor.

"Guards?" Well, I couldn't help but to fall into her question pattern!  Also, I wasn't sure what a guard was. Wasn't it just a curse that twofaced human threw in my direction?

"Do you want my help?" Why is she still talking in questions? Say a regular sentence!  Ah, but I think I should answer her.

"Can you help me escape this human den?" Why is she looking like she's confused by what I just asked? I mean, it's a perfectly straitforward question.

"You wish my help to leave this town?" Eh? What's a town? Is that what this place is called? I really need to study up on my human language!

"Uh, yes! I mean, it seems pretty dangerous to stay here." Seriously! These humans are out to eat me after all! Why would I stay here?

"Will you come with me?" You know, these questions are getting old. But, well, she's holding out her hand to me. I guess I could go with her.  It's got to be less dangerous staying with a non human than staying with a human.

Grabbing her hand, I allowed her to pull me up.  I, of coarse, did not forget to place my shiny crystal back in my hair.  Now that I knew this convenient method of shiny crystal transportation,  I was determined to utilize it to the best of my abilities.

She was cautiously looking around while occasionally sniffing the air.  She pulled me down the corridor I was in and led me into another, and then another. There were so many twists and turns, I was getting dizzy!

I wasn't sure of the way out of this so called town. I was sleeping when I arrived, so I had to rely on Luna to uphold her end of the bargain.

What bargain? Well, didn't I let her enjoy my presence? I mean, why else would she assist me in my great escape? Ah, I mean, well.....ahem.

Well, now I'm feeling just a tad bit guilty that I haven't done anything for her. She is helping me a lot, after all!  I'm sure I could have found my own way out, but she's making sure I don't waste precious time and possible recapture. I'll have to really think about how I can repay her.

Well  after several twists and turns and a few loop de loops, we ended up at a small building.  It seemed a lot more run down than the other buildings I have seen in this town.

Without a word, Luna pushed open the door to the building and dragged me inside.  Closing the door tightly, I had to let myself get used to the dim light.

"Luna, you're back!" Ah! I know this voice!

Squinting my eyes in the dark, I made out a dim figure who was standing up from a chair and walking towards us.

"Ray?! What are you doing here? Luna! What's the meaning of this?" The shadowy figure was finally coming into focus. I knew it!

"Lilliana, the elf female!" I couldn't help but shout out loud. I've found that I'm pretty bad at remembering names.....Don't judge! I'm more of a face person! If I recognize your face, you feel honored! Anyway!

"Ray. It is wonderful to see you again. But may I ask what you are doing here?" Lilliana seems distressed that I am here. I wonder why.

"What if she can help?" Luna, the question queen, asked.
