This person hugging me, is this some sort of greeting?  My mother never did this.  Well, its only natural.  Imagine getting hugged by a dragon!

"Um, excuse me?" I tried to talk to the thing embracing me.

"I, I'm sorry!" I took a better look at this person who was backing away while turning a bright red.

I do wonder how you can tell if its male or female from the human race.  Mother never really went into details.  And now I'm wondering.

Well, I think all the beings in this room are the same gender though.  They have the same characteristics.  They all have long hair. And they all have lumps of flesh protruding out of the chest.  It kinda looks awkward.  I do hope they are female.  I would hate to have lumps of flesh suddenly grow out of me!

"Um, this may sound silly, but are you male or female?" I asked hesitantly.  Well!  But I need to know if I will one day grow lumps from my chest!  I already know I am male, so if they are female, I can relax.

"Uh, female?" Dogkin answers with a question.  Well, are you telling me you're female or asking me if you're female?  Which is it?  My future depends on your answer!

I looked intensely at the dogkin.  The dogkin looked intensely back.  Then cowered.  Hey, hey!  Don't just cower there!  Answer my question!

"You," the hugger addressed me.

"Eh?" I asked, looking in that direction.

"You are female too, right? Why would you ask if we are male or female?  You were brought here to be a breeder too.  And you're just a little girl, too." Tears came in her eyes.

Ah, I want tears in my eyes too!  Thank you for answering my question!  I was so scared!

Eh?  Did she say something weird?

"I'm sorry for hugging you so suddenly.  I know you must have gone through a traumatic time.  Did they already....breed...with you?" Hugger seems genuinely concerned with my well being.  Ah, how nice!  I wish my mother was like her!

Eh? Did she say something weird?

"Perhaps we should do the humane thing and put her out of her misery." Miss human number two quipped.  She had dead eyes.  To tell the truth, she scared me a bit.  I'm not sure who she's talking about, but it seems a bit dark.

"Hanna!  I know what you've been through.  We all have been through it already.  But you have to believe that help will come!  I'm sure that Will and James got away safely!  They will return with help any day now!" Hugger gave scary eyes a name!

"Even if they do, the damage is done!  I would rather die!  The least we can do for her is to kill her now, before she becomes ruined." Hanna said something scary again!  Who are they talking about?

Suddenly, hugger hugged me tightly again.  Um, not sure why, but it kinda feels nice to be hugged.

You know, I feel that asking the orcs about my mother can wait.  Why don't I just ask these females?  It seems like they've been here for awhile.  Well, it couldn't hurt.

"I hate to interrupt." I manage to squeeze out.  "But you wouldn't happen to know anything about a big monster fight that occurred to the west of here recently, do you?"

"Monster fight?" Dogkin cocked her head at my question.  Looks like she doesn't know.  Or does she?  She only answers in questions.  Its hard to tell if she truly knows anything!

"Three months ago." Elf girl said something!  I'm shocked!  I thought she was as mute as Silent.

"Three months ago?" I asked her urgently.
